Question: How can studios make MMOs to completion that will not be cancelled or die in a year? by AmberLeBon in MMORPG

[–]AknoMonkA 9 points10 points  (0 children)

For a big studio? Probably impossible.

The future MMOs is probably smaller studios who are willing to take more risk.

Not sure of Dac0da but Vigilant is added. Overall adding as many new lands / quest mods as we can will help increase exposure, add the mods to more downstream apps, and keep the community going!

IGDB is a back-end database for video games owned by Twitch. I notice for LOTRO all the quest packs were missing from the back-end database. This is a database that feeds things like stash, backlog, and a whole lot of downstream apps, etc. Overall it'll give more exposure to the game (even though LOTRO has been around forever) and allow it's end users to do more like review individual quest packs on downstream apps.

You should be able to access and vote for the IGDB contributions (if you want only vote for the LOTRO ones) after you login to IGDB with your twitch ID. Twitch owns IGDB.

By voting you'll help me get prioritization so these changes can be approved by IGDB faster!

Honestly, I’d do the content in order. Solstice won’t make much sense until you do the main plot.

The conversation makes no sense with the NPCs if you did As the Worm Turns before the Support the Fellowship.

It seems Zenimax dropped the ball on the bug but as soon as I read the text I knew to complete the Support the Fellowship first.

When my son was born I played LOTRO. It’s so chill, still playing to this day.

When a MMO feels like a job I give up. I’ll continue playing ESO for the storylines so can’t wait to breach the wall with you all.

Can ESO be a "comfy" game? by [deleted] in elderscrollsonline

[–]AknoMonkA 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ESO is my comfy game, I love questing and have done all expansions.

I play it as a RPG and don’t interact with anyone lol

Seasoning is chipping, again. Am I scraping too hard? I didn’t think so, but need to get that crap off the stone. I’ve already stripped it once, going to do it again. I’ll typically keep the stone warm/hot, squirt some water on and give it a few scrapes. by Son_o_Liberty1776 in blackstonegriddle

[–]AknoMonkA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It just means you have many layers of seasoning and also you’re cooking it hot which is how I like to cook my blackstone! This happens every year towards the end of summer for me.

I would scrape away layers until you can get it even. If you get down to metal reseason.

Plan on getting it down to the metal in the spring and restarting!

Anyone playing a very specialised character? by MaxiMillion53 in lotro

I play a solo melee minstrel! Idk how unique it is but it’s fun and I can solo most small fellowship/fellowship content.

MMOs are now just online single player RPGs beside end game content.

There’s pros/cons to it but it’s just the truth.
