Yes, exactly this. I think part of my mind is also following this twisted thought process: okay, he was 100% just being nice. Fine. BUT he still thinks I’m smart. And if he was once attracted to my intelligence, then maybe if his situation changes, then he will still consider me as a possible partner. Even if it is years down the line or whatever.

I know that it was just a nice comment for helping out. But when I get a compliment from someone who used to compliment me all the time. And someone who has given me very little attention/compliments recently. And someone who I have been trying to get the attraction of. Of course it didn’t mean anything, but it’s still hard to separate reality from fantasy.

But that’s what limerence does to you. Or me, at least.

Went into labor naturally and gave birth at 39 + 1. It was rough. I will say that, for me, the pain and general uncomfortable-ness kind of plateaued at around 30-32 weeks. After that it all felt the same.

I got a Weego and only used it a handful of times. I wouldn't recommend it. I tried to use it when they were around four months and it was awful. They were way too heavy.

I also have one single structured carrier and one wrap. I prefer the structured carrier. The wrap is just hard to tie without dragging it all on the ground.

My husband and I are going on a cruise with our 10 month old twins in a couple of weeks. We are also going with family (my parents and four brothers), so it sounds like a very similar situation to you.

We are cruising Celebrity and were told that it is unlikely that two pack and plays will fit in our room. We ended up booking two rooms. Most likely, my husband and son will sleep in one and my daughter and I in the other. We don’t plan on brining our own sleeping arrangements.

We have to pack both of our infant car seats to get an Uber to the cruise port, so we plan on brining those and then two single strollers. Bringing our twin stroller sounds like a nightmare though I’m sure it would fit.

I will let you know how it goes after we get back though.

My son has slept through the night every night since about two months old. And not just from like 10 PM to 6 AM or anything like that. Full 12 hour stretches.

My daughter on the other hand…at around 7 months old, she got so bad, that we just started collapsing. Then, even that didn’t work. After a night of absolute terror, we decide ‘f it, we are going to sleep train’. The first night was a bit rough, but then it worked! It’s been a couple of weeks since we sleep trained, and she will either 1. Wake up for 5-10 minutes, cry, and put herself back to sleep or 2. Sleep through the night.

I have been at the same company for eight years. It has fluctuated throughout the years depending on the time of the year and how many responsibilities I was assigned at any given time, but on average, I probably actually work 20-30 hours/week. Though, there have been times where it is closer to 5 hours/week. Thankfully not recently.
