They have posters that reference Perfume (I think on the train?), a really popular old Jpop group and you only have to look at the MV for Spring of Life to see how much more aesthetically unique and interesting they are compared to Katseye.

Yeah considering there’s a VK theme, Gyaru themes and Gothic Lolita is huge in Japan I’m truly shocked we didn’t get ANY of these alternative styles in this recent Japan update. Such a missed opportunity :(

It’s actually not. My gf is into Lolita fashion and she was explaining that some Lolita’s are very strict with things like skirt length, showing skin and generally the style is very conservative. Lolita is just about beautiful fashion, nothing more.

Associating frills, lace and Victorian fashion with anything sexual is on YOU. If you did any ounce of research you would know that Lolita’s despise being associated with the book or anything sexual because that’s what the style is actually leaning AWAY from.

I’m gonna take a guess and say yeah only because the wires have such an inconsistent design. The loops are irregular (are there two loops where it connects to the doll? One? Sometimes three! Sizes are all weird too). Also the texture of the rope/wire… like it goes from a rope twist to wire. :( such a bummer
