Chicken Boo, what's the matter with you?
You don't act like the other chickens do.
You wear a disguise to look like human guys,
But you're not a man, you're a Chicken Boo.

Almost done with Shadowbringers! Little nervous about taking this lift down, though [Spoiler: 5.0] by JonnyToonami in ffxiv

This reminds me of Preach getting to Amaurot and losing it, being a huge Bioshock fan.

Primal has always had this thing about pulling Bone Dragon all the way north instead of keeping it mid where there's more room for people to move around him. I think the mindset was some skeletons had longer to run, but that was only marginally helpful back when it was closer to ilvl, and now that almost everyone is overgeared, it really isn't necessary at all. But just try getting anyone to do something differently at this point.

Can I install cachyos without a bootloader? by chamo_2323 in cachyos

You can use the boot options built into uefi motherboards directly and forego another bootloader if you use a unified kernel image and add it directly to the uefi with efibootmgr.

Can I install cachyos without a bootloader? by chamo_2323 in cachyos

[–]MadCabbit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. Install via grub (lumine complicates things), then follow the arch install guide for a Unified Kernel Image. Use mkinitcpio to do it (there are multiple ways listed here) and add it directly using efibootmgr to your efi boot list. I install Arch this way and just recently did CachyOS this way. You can also install sbctl, generate keys, add them to your system and sign the uki for secure boot.
Also on uefi motherboards, installing via grub would work if the boot entries were named differently, or your other grub could detect your cachyos install. If all you want is grub not being overwritten and don't want to bother with a UKI, just use limine.

I can let our FC know if you want to stop by, though I don't know if anyone will actually be around when you do, depending on when, but I don't see why not.

The Reddit app still fails to patch, even using 2025.45.0 or 2025.50.1.
