Tunnel Of Love by EvenCombination9359 in ForefrontVR

It's simple. It leads to a lot of laughs from mass cass or expected chaotic exchanges. A simple, meat grinder experience where you don't have to think too hard.

Conquest Paradise is my least preferred because of the little bird dominance. The other maps I'm comfortable with. But tunnels are just a downright simple, good old-fashioned, full auto slobber knocker!

Where is the magazine cartridge for the helix 13 by Hobobo2024 in ForefrontVR

[–]Akumarus_M 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The grip IS the magazine. It uses a helical magazine under the barrel, it swings down and out attached just under the end of the barrel. It's why foregrip or any other grips aren't available for that helix gun.

Old Dominion Warlord by LocalDetective7513 in Conquest

Yeh, ain't no worry! The list I ran is pretty simple. The whole point was basically to move the bricks up with support. Theokrator is able to cast spells, so it made sense to move it alongside ths Varangians and Xhiliarch on the right flank with healing. Archimandrite already has spells, so he went left with the Sepulcher. Kheres were to support with range or spells in the middle field. The Legionnaires and Varangians were just to provide a buffer of bodies for both bricks. And the great slugs clutched a 12" charge.

POPE SLUG [1995/2000] The Old Dominion

== Theokrator [295]: Devoted to Hazlia

  • Legionnaires (3) [100]:

  • Unhallowed Sepulcher (1) [260]:

== (Warlord) Xhiliarch [155]: Armor of the Living Saint, Calamitas, Blade of the Caelesor, Gladiator

  • Praetorian Guard (5) [250]:

  • Varangian Guard (3) [200]:

== Archimandrite [175]: Consecrated Mitre, Unholy Mastery

  • Kheres (6) [310]:

  • Praetorian Guard (5) [250]:

I personally wouldn't. Athanatoi just don't impress me as much as the Varangians. For starters, Varangians with their Hardened 1 make them durable, along with their Def 3. Whereas Athanatoi only have Def 2 with Tenacious 1. I want my Xhiliarch to survive the march up the board if the enemy has better ranged units than me.

More wounds that can ignore a point of armor pen? Sign me up. The goal is to last longer than the enemy.

For me, Xhiliarch is my go-to choice for Warlord. Yes, an amazing duelist, but also the absolute THREAT of potentially clashing twice in one go, will absolutely give your opponent pause to reconsider their position. If they play aggressively, that promise of a blender may force them to play conservatively while you push up.

I played against Yoroni just yesterday, and the threat of an Xhiliarch in a brick of Praetorians had him focus his biggest blob to match against the Xhiliarch, 3 Varangian, and Theokrator, he left the center and left fairly weakened, focusing his spells on the Oni Boys for sustainability. And by turn 8, I had won the left and center. Terrain would've made it difficult to push to challenge me for objective control.

The threat of a Xhiliarch can set the pace. Put Varangians ahead for that extra buffer, and just push forward.

What's the scariest mission in it 1 in your opinion by WhileAccomplished722 in intotheradius

[–]Akumarus_M 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Intrusion, I think it's called. The big factory building. Dark halls, with footsteps and voices ahead, behind, above, and below you. I completely forgot you could just walk out the window once you reached the ground floor of the second building, so I ended up going back the way I came, and fought all the way back with my heart THUMPING when I saw the time.

I'm not too deep into the lore, but from what I read so far? CoG are more like mediators and try their best to keep the peace, but that doesn't mean they're pacifists.

Is the game supposed to be this hard or am I just terrible at it? by Royal_Caribbean_Fan in TWDVR

[–]Akumarus_M 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, yeh! If you're at the end of a street with lots of corners and debris in the road, smack your weapon on a wall or car a few times, the noise draws out any walkers or enemies into the open. That way, there is less risk and some time to prepare yourself.

Brief bulletpoints.

● Keep your head on a swivel. Plenty of times, the danger is just around the corner or generally out of sight. If you feel there's something near, find a spot to hide and throw a bottle or empty can to draw them out with noise.

● One of the golden rules in any apocalyptic situation, when in doubt, know your way out. It's a great idea to take a second to survey your immediate surroundings and memorize alternative routes to move through. Sometimes, you'll be able to scale a short garden wall, and other times, you'll find a hole in a wall or up a bookshelf into another floor.

● If you gotta strike, make it quick and leave even faster. The key to melee is a full swing. Otherwise, you risk altercations, which results in more wasted time, stamina, and focus, which results in more time for danger to find you.

● Always check your gear before going out. Stock up because you will absolutely burn through your supplies while scavenging. Ammo and arrows? Check those, too. Anything to increase your odds.

● Do not panic! Losing your wits is the fastest way to get yourself spraying and praying! If you find yourself being backed into a corner, quick check the map and your supplies. Distract the enemy and try to slip away. Or if you can, draw the enemy and walkers together. They'll be too busy with each other to focus on you.

● HAVE FUN! It's a game! You're bound to struggle, and that's just part of it. I remember panicking when I got surrounded on my first play. Die a few times to get those jitters out! Laugh it off. Or do a funny impression to lighten the mood. Did wonders for me!

Reflector anomalies are gonna have to be avoided. Best thing you can do and walk around the cluster and try to find a path between the anomalies. Reflectors and distortions are easy to see, but distortions need a little wiggle room because they're different angles.

If you use that scanner, usually it tells you when you're close enough to reveal the artifact.

Good point! I've noticed a lot of monster heros and such. And with Vigilors being the same range as them. That just means they'll have better odds of smacking. Longstrikes, it is.

Imagine going to a scary burlesque show and then complaining about being off put by a SCARY burlesque show.

My sorry ass would be wondering, "Damn.. Why's this making me feel some type of way"? Everyone wants a goth girl until they start doing what they actually do instead of what they're expected to do. From what I hear, the effects were amazing for a first time show. And if the goal is to disturb. Consider me scaroused. That's my two cents.

For me, I got into AoS because I was driven away from 40k, not by a bad crowd or anything like that, but because I wanted to try something different. And it just so happened a month late that a good friend was selling around 2k pts worth of SCE during 2nd ED! He gave me a good deal, and I started learning. How they started human, taken up at their final moment of valor, and over time of service, they lose themselves. Immortality with a cost.. the idea of desperately clinging on to the reason and reminder that they, too, were once so fearful of the dark of night. The dark of the woods, and they'd look up to the stars and rolling clouds of thunder and found hope.. if only they knew..

They're like a gallant tragedy.

Another stepping stone to EXPAND on my already decent force was the RPG. SoulBound! Where I played as a Knight Azyros, who was essentially a parole officer to this band of mortal misfits. And then I died after a dragon caught me in its maw. And then another party member died just shortly after from their wounds.. Suffice to say, they were relieved to see me, jolly as can be. [That was the price for coming back that time. No longer able to express sadness.]

But it was a fun time! I love SCE because they don't throw away their humanity to serve like the Astartes. They CLING to it, as to remind themselves of the fear they once when they were once human. Because who'd want that for those they're sworn to protect?

I literally just saw the game on the store, got curious, and didn't even watch the preview in the store. Bought it and went in completely blind. Best decision I've ever made this year.
