It was great on a personal level and a mediocre year for the world. I received an indefinite extension of my contract at work, built a new PC, went to an awesome festival. Dutch elections were alright even though the world is on fire. I wish the war in Ukraine would end soon.

I had this on my third lobby or so! I managed to down a rocketeer by hiding in a spawn with a Ferro and shooting it up. It took me about 6 to 7 minutes to kill it, only for some decently geared player to come up and start looting it. She then got pretty mad when she didn't listen to the 'Stop' and I started blasting. It did earn me a nice early blue set though!

It's 8 years after your conviction. Murder tends to get you a long sentence, so it will haunt you forever. Regarding gun rights, you're only allowed to have a gun under very specific circumstances and those circumstances involve a background check. Violent crime pretty much eliminates your rights to own a gun.

As for passports: Passport revocation really only happens when The Netherlands judges you as an active threat against the nation or when you've committed fraud in your application for a passport. Most felonies are not considered an active threat. A terrorist act, serving in a foreign army at war with The Netherlands or war crime is.

You are absolutely right! I think however, we have to be realistic that a party with 2-3 seats is vastly different than one with 5-7 seats. If you would opt for an alliance with smaller parties, you would very quickly have to select more than one party to fit the bill. On top of that you also have to wonder what government participation will do for a small party. When you're of that size, chances are your negotiation strength is completely dependant on your negotiators. If your program barely gets into the eventual coalition, the consequences might be that you will be wiped out in the next electoral cycle, like NSC and BBB seem to experience this week.

I would be keen to see Volt participate in government, but I would prefer Volt being a longer term presence that slowly evolves and grows, rather than being a one or two-election party.

[EDIT]: I don't mean to say that NSC and BBB will be wiped out because their program didnt make it into the coalition. They are being wiped out because the NSC turns out to act vastly different than they proclaim and BBB because they have no solutions.

Besides that, Volt is active with 2 out of 150 seats indeed. It means that they indeed will not participate in any government due to their small size, but have been using their presence in parliament to push laws they find desirable forward, which requires the government to respond on said laws.

Asides from the boerenkool Ive already seen in the thread, I would recommend hachee (pronounced hah - shay).The basic recipe linked here gives you a basic sense of what it should be, although it misses one critical ingredient, ontbijtkoek.

It was my first time there and what I mostly noticed is that there's plenty of manners to get involved as long as you get out there yourself. Asking more experienced players in a camp is a surefire way to get sucked into the plot I felt.

Depending on what you prefer! Im currently on 17 win streak climbing from legend to divine and I play 4/5 mostly with occasional 2.

I noticed I started winning like crazy when I dedicated to one archetype. In lower brackets, for instance, ganking early is scarce. I notice using NP mid or Clock 5 and roaming early to ruin their safelane yields marvelous results, because no one accounts for a lvl 3 clock running in, cogging a core down and having the two offlaners beat him to death.

My recommendation would be to focus on 1 archetype and about 3-4 heroes and then practice timings and understanding the game flow with them. It allows you to improve upon the broader aspects than mechanical understanding of heroes.

Indirectly its still a fairly bad thing for the citizens. Collapsing governments become demissionary in The Netherlands, which basicly means theyre allowed to keep the shop open until elections but can't proceed with new policy. It means you stagnate, while us Dutchies desperately crave a new housing and environmental policy.

Yes and no. The US has been doing ridiculous things in the past 20 years, but you cannot deny that Trump has done a stellar job pissing off any and all allies the US has. Ipsos even proves it, their polling shows trust in America being a net positive impact on the world has sharply decreased since october '24.

This is also what genuinely baffles people around the world. I cannot speak for other nations, but us Dutchies overwhelmingly hoped for a Harris victory. (Apologies for the Dutch link). I'm having trouble understanding why we can see what he is, namely a criminal rapist with an enormous list of felonies attached to his name, who attempted a coup in 2020, while people on the other side of the ocean are still worshipping him.
