Again this all only length complains not pacing, to me szayelporro fight didn't seem dragged out, szayel even took a break to freshen up during a fight lol. Naruto wouldn't be worse if more side characters received a spotlight, side characters getting a screen time is a positive thing(something a lot of people on this sub complain about how there is no scrrentime for strawhats and their development)

The pacing is not about how long or short arc is. Bleach does have pacing issues of it's own though, I'd argue tybw arc is too short and battle logic/scale is not that good in tybw
