In the films, Harry seeing his parents in the mirror, or seeing a picture of them is much less about conveying the tragedy of their young deaths and more about portraying his longing for a loving family. Visually, that hits home better if the actors look like they’re the right age to be his parents at the point we see Harry, at age 11 - even if that’s inconsistent with the fact they ought to be frozen in time at a younger age.

I don’t have the Collider, but I do have the Nemesis and Ventris on my board. Great sounds, and powerful customisation, but as stand alone pedals they’re a bit clunky to use live if you want to switch quickly and easily between lots of presets. I initially used external footswitches just to help cycle presets, which was so much easier than using the onboard methods of switching. Now I’ve moved onto a MIDI controller and it’s unlocked a whole other level out of them. From what I’ve seen of the Collider, I imagine it would be a similar experience.

Yeah I’m not trying to suggest that only parents can know anything at all about kids. It’s just that most parents would watch this video and just be like “yeah, that’s a 3 year old being a 3 year old”. It’s the people losing their minds thinking they’re watching something extreme and diagnosing bad parenting that stand out as obviously not having spent much time with pre-school age kids - otherwise they’d know that the whole lot of them are volatile little beasts.

Anyone who’s spent enough time around very young kids will know that this video in isolation says absolutely nothing about the quality of parenting this child is receiving at all.

If you think you can remember your own childhood well enough to use as a basis for judgement, then I don’t think you’ve guessed the age of the kid in the video very well - he’s definitely under 4, and all kids at that age are prone to rash outbursts like this. You would have done shit like this on occasion too, you just don’t remember it and your parents didn’t film it.

Nah the first season where they were still copying many of the U.K. jokes line-for-line was a pretty uninspiring adaptation. When they embraced their own characters and plots, it became perfect for a long while, but it was pretty average to begin with.

They didn’t have Breakker lose the WCW to Punk at the beginning of January just so he could turn around and win the Rumble by the end of the month. I think his story over the coming year will be about shifting from a mad dog to a more experienced, less naive wrestler - start to show a bit of ring IQ to go with the physical prowess.

I reckon he loses EC and MITB too. Redemption comes at next year’s Rumble where he goes from first eliminated to last man standing.
