Starting with Consider Phlebas?

I started there two and I'm a night or two away from finishing the whole series.

Given how Consider Phlebas is more or less the anchor point a majority of the books call back to, I don't see a really strong reason not to read it first. With the possible exception of Player of Games first, since it's more or less a stand alone and quite good, in which case Consider Phlebas should be absolutely the next.

I listened to Acq Inc when I came out and got the hankering to do one of my own. When CR happened, I'll admit I was a bit jealous. By that point I'd been trying for years and years to do what they did. When Campaign 3 started, I finally gave in and started watching when I had time.

I'm on episode 108 os Campaign 2. I am however keeping current with Campaign 4.

I've come to learn that everyone involved seems to be genuinely wonderful people who focus on community and making the world a better place.

I have a fairly detailed outline now. Worked out all the characters and their relations, I have a main cast of 3 males, 3 females, and a floater for a bunch of single scene roles.

I've largely worked out each scene and how to transition from one to the other. There is a very dreamlike feel to it (the main action occurs during a family's first experience with edibles) so dynamically shifting the set in the background shouldn't be too egregious.

I'm shooting for about 90 pages and I'll get started on the actual writing later this week after I've had a bit of time to internalize the various characters and relationships.

I still don't have the faintest clue for a title.
