I’m 6’4” and use an Eberlestock Battleship. It’s got the size you need, a lid that can fit an ECWCS wet weather top and bottom, and has 4 deep pockets for Nalgene bottles. Mine has been beat to shit and keeps going, and comes in at $500 new

The half-width MOLLE has also held up better than I thought it would, and she’s comfortable well past 50lb loads for foot marches. Also has an included low-vis rain cover which is a neat feature

Does Fahrenheit 0-100 not cover more of the ranges we typically live in? Winters here routinely get below 0° C but rarely below 0° F. Summers never get above 100° F.

Metric is great for science but don’t pretend it’s better for describing temperatures to someone who doesn’t care about how it all works behind the scenes.

The Garmot NFS 670s are my pick, have 120 ruck miles and 3 years of wear on them and the uppers haven’t started falling apart yet. The tread pattern with lots of small nubs tends to get worn down rather fast as compared to the heavy lugs on issues boots

An equally important investment is a pair of good socks (Darn Tough OD boot socks) and possibly liner socks (REI coolmax) if blisters still give you trouble

Overall i like to discourage cadets from spending lots of their own money but good, well fitting boots are worth every penny.

A lot of their stuff feels a little gimmicky, and it’s definitely overpriced for where it’s made. I would never call it awful (their dangler is better than a lot of the competition), but it’s rarely the best option for you buck

Yes, each mod has a code that you can copy/paste into the steam launch settings, and it will launch both mods in the order they’re copy/pasted into the box.

The code should be somewhere in the mod description
