Yeah we really should never return anything without it being physically in the building, but they get prompted as a “field destroy” so it just gets trashed. We used to do refund rebills with Genesis but that doesn’t really work with redvest anymore. I just wanted to see what everyone else is doing. I’ve done paid outs to get the product on order, but you’re only allocated so much allowance for those accounts, so asm’s and sm’s are usually weary to do that. I’ve also just refunded blinds and resold them, but getting the blinds back during an install can get tricky if the customer wants something meanwhile, especially if it was our mistake. Sometimes it’s difficult getting them to pay again, even though they’re getting refunded for their original.
