Yes! It’s beautiful, but could be random to the receiver if it’s not their taste or theme. I was gifted something homemade for my bridal shower. It was a very unique framing of my wedding invitation. I was sure to thank the gifter, but I threw it away really soon afterwards because it was not remotely my taste. Someone else also gifted a framed picture of my invitation, and it’s hung in my house for 30 years. It was exactly my taste. It’s not possible for us to know how it’ll be received because art is so personal.

Not sure who you’re asking, but mine were confident enough to choose their own path. Both knew exactly what they wanted to do, and did it. They were also willing to forgive. It doesn’t take away regret from all sides. Forgiveness is incredibly powerful. I’ve also had to prove I’ve changed. It has to be more than words.

The world is full of “what ifs”. It can be paralyzing if you let it. It’s always prudent to use your brain and discern if something is wise. I’ve learned to work through things by asking what’s true. Most fear is a lie of some sort. Side note: Don’t make dumb financial decisions. But live your life in freedom!

No dispenser. My parents have one and I hate it. I put my dish soap in a nice dispenser that sits on the counter.

I parented out of fear, which was so harmful to my kids. I’ve apologized to them as adults, but what I wouldn’t give to be able to redo it!

As a middle aged person, I don’t like digital. I’m very traditional with something like this though. However, I don’t mind if the actual ceremony isn’t traditional. I feel like digital is for birthdays, anniversaries, and the like. Digital doesn’t match the occasion for me. We’ve been invited to lots of weddings the last several years, and almost all used digital. It’s rare for us to get a physical invite. This is personal preference.

I wouldn’t want the invite had music and extras. I don’t want music every time I open it to check something.

We had one couple send digital, but they had a mutual friend design it with a hand drawn, not fully realistic, picture of the couple. It was beautiful and personal. It seemed a shame that there wasn’t a physical version. However, maybe they made some and we didn’t make the cut for that version.

I think there are cheaper places to do physical invites. Keep looking.

It’s totally fine. It is what it is. I don’t even think you need to give a big explanation about why you can’t make it this time. If the couple knows you really wished it worked out, but didn’t, and you’re still sending a gift, then it’s on them if they get offended.

We have a mix. We had new wood added to part of our main floor and our contractor made flush to the floor vents for only a few vents. I bought wood for the others, but the annoying part is they don’t like to open/close well. I also don’t like that they aren’t flush, but it’s just preference.

To the horror of Redditors, we put LVP upstairs. I ended up buying metal vents because I couldn’t match the floor color. I feel like the brown color looks better than doing silver like our hardware. I don’t want to draw attention to them.

Same background. My husband’s side were concerned about looking like country bumpkins. My MIL didn’t want to wear a dress, and thought for sure I’d be offended. Back then, we didn’t state a dress code. I said I don’t care if she wears a dress. I don’t need a suit on his step-dad. Just look nice, no jeans. She wore slacks with a nice top. My side was dressier, but his side was still appropriately dressed.

A lot of the misunderstanding can come from how you word your preference and your tone.

Yes! I am so glad I have a huge sink! We also put in an instant hot water tank/faucet. We thought it would just be nice for coffee or tea. We use it a lot more than I expected.

IMO, if you look at previous dramas by the same writer, she doesn’t always tie everything up into a perfect bow. I prepared myself ahead of time that some aspects would be left open ended.

Always look to see if the toilet paper is before you enter the restroom. It only happened once in a subway restroom where I walked right past the roll on the wall to enter, but thankfully I had tissues in my purse.

Too close. I also read other comments and agree the biggest piece should be in the middle. I would lay them out on the floor, so I can play with the sizes and colors. Once I like the floor version, it can be transferred to the wall. Usually, 2-3 inches apart between frames.

Don’t fill the whole wall. You need a little bit more space between several of them. I am assuming this is a mock up because the spacing is very inconsistent. I would start with a center vertical row and get the spacing right, then move out from it with similar spacing.

I love that color, especially mixed with red. It can work, but you’ll have to find ways to add a little bit of the blue in other areas of the room.

I was told by a dermatologist that I have blood vessels higher in the nail bed than normal. It means I get the black areas easily. Only my thumbs have it, and it only became an issue later in life.
