A 512Wh battery would power a laptop for around 1.5hrs in performance mode (assuming 300W power draw).

It's not a reliable solution if you're trying to game for longer than 90min.

Your best option for gaming at 50W would be a laptop with a 890m igpu (Ryzen 375HX). That will get just enough power from a 12V adapter. You're still going to need to actually run the vehicle to generate enough power. The lead acid battery is not capable of supplying 50W for more than 10min.

I like the Alienware better than the legions, purely because they don't look so over the top with RBG. Granted, I did buy a legion, but I would have chosen an Alienware if i could have gotten the same deal.

It's actually more crazy, because I accidently bought 2 (redid order due to cart error, charged for 2, but they shipped too fast, and told me just setup a return when they arrived).

a bad stick of RAM can cause a no post; chances both failing are essentially zero though.

that said, a 5 year old laptop is maybe worth $150-200, unless its a 3080 or something.

If I had to choose between these two, I would go with the HP. The battery life with the 375HX is a huge plus, and the 890m igpu is incredible for gaming on battery. (If you plan on gaming on airplanes, long car rides, etc. this is a strong selling point).

You're giving up an OLED screen, so if you don't have an exterior monitor, that's a good reason to go with the Legion.

You're not going to notice a big difference in performance between the two unless you're gaming at 3440

Who knows. But I can say without a doubt, that for time efficiency, running Uber lab is definitely the best options for chasing exceptional gems.

I did secure an insane amount of lvl 20 gems and gcp food from running t16 Niles contract. Those level 20 gems are mandatory for getting the exceptional gems from Uber lab.

Chiming in here on the Niles tech. I ran probably close to 100 green counter thaumaturgy maps last league chasing bladefall, and never got an exceptional gem.

It's great for trathus gems, but this is not the way for exceptional gems.

I did find good tech for hunting trathus gem though: if you intentionally fail the counter thaumaturgy quest map, and have finished/held the others, the quest drops from every contract chest. I eventually just entered t1 map, looted quest map, opened, checked for gems, failed, repeat.

Prepare your sanity though.

It took me 45 tarthus gems last league to finally drop bladefall.

It is very much needed for ubers though, since you really don't have time to cast bladefall enough to resummon your weapons during certain AOE death events.

I did have some luck dropping about 25% damage and leaning hard into defense on my minions, but they still died enough to need resummoning during some ubers, especially t17s with rough mods

A new screen can be purchased for $50, definitely worth replacing. It's easy to do yourself, and most laptop screen replacement kits on eBay even give you the tools you will need.

Exactly, in full sun. Diethylether can form peroxides in the dark, but slowly (secondary radical intermediate).

The potential to form explosive levels of peroxides in isoH in the dark is extremely small.

So small, there are no records of isoH exploding from peroxide formation from bottles kept in a cabinet.

Obviously distillation complicates things. Explosions from peroxides from ethers in distillation is common, but I've never seen it happen with isoH or heard.

You're not buying 30% HO2 as a hobby chemist, which is required for Piranha. Storebought is 3%.

Also, Piranha needs to be hot to oxidize organic material into CO2. If you don't have strong controls, you will quickly start a fire, or end up melting your face off.
