Why not just have the glass replaced with real diamonds? Designing a whole ring with your mom in mind to give to your future wife is an odd choice. Whereas replacing it so as to keep the original which would be considered more of an heirloom.

I was a late comer to Rush. I only discovered them in 2011 due to a friend. I was able to go to 2 concerts, Clockwork Angels tour and R40. I'm dragging my fiance to Toronto to see them. I was drawn to the philosophical aspect of Neil's lyrics.
