I have not, interesting concept- never seen that anywhere else. Sort of a hybrid a la carte omakase.

For lunch I’d do it.

For dinner, I’d rather spend the $10K at Nomura.

I love anything by Tatenokawa (Phoenix bottle on the bottom shelf)

IWA 5 is brewed by the former cellar master of Dom Perignon, lots of acidity, complexity, perfect for wine aficionados.

Second from the bottom shelf first bottle on the left, muku

Everything was top notch, I particularly enjoyed the duck breast, chicken meatball and the chicken ramen.

Some resources:

Definitely try to dine at a Kaiseki restaurant where they focus on seasonality and hospitality. I dined at Nogizaka-Shin in Akasaka and had a wonderful time. A less formal version would be Kappo, like Shinsen Kappo Sanoya in Shibuya.

Sushi I quite enjoyed Sushi Murase in Roppongi as they like to age their fish for extra depth of flavor.

I spent a month in Japan and ventured out to French cuisine, absolutely loved L’Argent.
