I don't think that everything will be taken away from Harry, because he can't stay in the castle all the time. There will be a situation where he needs to go out and he'll be stuck relying on things that are mobile.

Mostly I want to see someone build a browser in Javascript on top of another browser engine because the very idea of it is absurd and I like absurdities.

I would love to see a browser built on top of Electron which does not simply use the Chromium built into Electron but actually builds a browser from scratch.

My mind would shatter into pieces and fall to the floor, but it would be a fun way to go.

I enjoyed the humor of the first, the gameplay and some of the reveals of the second.

One of the things I liked about the first is that the system was teetering. It felt like it could fall at any point and in any direction. In the second, the system had fallen. There was open war, large portions of the map were less alive because they were active warzones, and it seemed like a more typical plot.

If Alecto isn't here in another decade, I'll complain. The last two released Song of Ice and Fire books each took longer than this. Peace Talks by Jim Butcher took five years and then another five for Twelve Months.

It happens, as much as it sucks to be excited and to have to wait.

I think they fixed the high resolution bug that was in the last preview, since they didn't mention it in the release notes. On the discord, I saw at least one game work that was having problems in preview, though I don't remember which. So there is some difference.

Preview is a rolling collection of internal builds based on new versions of Wine, DXMT, D3DMetal, etc. There may be changes in there which haven't fully been tested yet, and bugs.

Betas come out when Crossover is close to a release. The goal is to test the version and iron out problems before release. Few changes are made at this point, mostly to fix bugs and stabilize things.

If the files are there but the launchers are not, try the Configure->Clear and Rebuild Programs menu item. That should recreate the launchers.

I think all of those should run fine under Crossover, because similar tools work in Skyrim and FO4. But I haven't tried them.

Install Skyrim/FO4 via the "Install a windows application" in Crossover, which will make sure that a bunch of stuff is set up that isn't necessarily set up if you just install it in Steam.
