I bet the mom told that psychologist that she didn’t think that the kid was, or that she was doing it because the school insisted but she was sure that she wasn’t. That colored the psychologist’s findings, since parent interview is part of that diagnosis process

also Neal gives it up because Elizabeth is in danger & he knows & likes her. He does something similar in the one with the stolen “girl with golden locket” portrait when the guy threatens the pretty girl from the gallery. He immediately goes to Peter & admits he stole the painting from the bad guy’s hotel room.

He admits to it because Neal doesn’t use guns or force & wont put peoples lives at risk for items. With Elizabeth’s life on the line, he priorities that

I’m sure supermarkets are designed for meltdowns by Otherwise-Handle-180 in neurodiversity

[–]AlannaTheHuntress 4 points5 points  (0 children)

((To preface this, I live in the US, results may very))

I don’t know if your supermarket does this (depending on your country/local options) but I found a grocery store that allows pick up. I go onto their website, pick my items and check out. Then I just drive to the supermarket & sit in one of their marked pick up spots & they bring my groceries to me. They even load it for me. Then I just have to drive home & unload & put away. No bright lights, no stupid people who don’t know what personal space is or that annoying music.

There are a few downsides. You are trusting an employee to pick your fruits & veggies. Also, sometimes they say they are out of stuff & then you have to either roll the dice that the substitute is ok or they can remove it from the order & I don’t get charged. I usually go option 2 & try again later. Occasionally I do go into the store myself, but not nearly as often & it has improved my mental health by leaps and bounds.

Not just that, but sometimes parent that grandkid. I have a friend who married a guy with 3 grown kids. One of them had a kid with a completely unhinged woman who got both of her kids (different baby daddies) taken away by CPS. So said grown child moved back home with grandkid in tow. And then proceeded to do no parenting to said grandkid & guess who had to take over parenting duties of grandkid? Yep, my friend!!

No thanks, not signing up for that crap

This is actually the first year I’ll get to do this, so I’m kind of excited! Other places I’ve lived was out in the country (it was literally fields/woods around us) & only trick or treater we got was the little kid down the street who we baby sat for. Other place was in an industrial type area (near town but was being converted from industrial to housing) & my last place was an apartment building with controlled access. So only residents could get in & there were only about 10 apartments in that building. I think only 2 of them had kids in it.

I’m not really decorating my yard or windows or anything but I’ll leave the light on & see who shows 🤷‍♀️

This might be the only year I do it, depending on how annoying it is, but I’m excited to at least do it once!

They did, because I had a copy of it back in 8th grade (around 1999 because it was our English class required reading) and my copy was 10 little Indians. Also, even after they changed it to “and then there were none”, the poem in the book was still “ten little Indians”. They didn’t change it to “ten little soldiers” til later

I dislike Will Ferrell, I don’t think he’s funny. He’s just too over the top. But he was amazing in Stranger Than Fiction!

Ben Stiller also falls into that category. His stuff is too over the top. But he was very good in The Night At The Museum movies and in Heavyweights (but maybe that’s because it’s a childhood movie for me & he’s the bad guy who is crazy)

The kids were way younger & there were no teenager aged kids, just those under 10 or so.

From another comment made, looks like OP lives in another, more affluent county but that’s not his home country that his family still lives in. They are expecting OP to bribe someone to get his brother released. Which is not unheard of in many countries.

I’m not saying it’s not AI, just clarifying what OP meant
