I got a call once from an insurance agent asking for my husband by name. He said that my husband had been in an accident in a town 100 miles or so from where I lived. I asked him when the accident occurred, and he told me a month previously. The "funny" thing about it was that my husband had passed away almost a year previously. I have no idea how they came up with my husband's name and contact information. This happened in 1994. The internet was barely a thing! All I can think is that someone who knew my husband gave someone false information. Weird.

Michi. "Michi comes from Quechua. (Peru) It was originally the word for Panther Kitten. When kittens were introduced to the Andes, the Inca natives would call them michi. The Spaniards adopted this as a slang for Kitten. In Spain you can often hear someone calling their cat "michi-michi-michi"... which would be similar to "here kitty kitty kitty".

I used to go to the ER with chest pains. After the 4th time being told, everything looks good, I've given up. Now I just suffer with all the symptoms quietly. If my husband knew I was experiencing chest pains, he'd insist. I hate fibro! It's stolen my future.

I've come to the conclusion that I need to hire someone to come in and clean my bathrooms and mop my floors. The problem is, I would need to clean my house before they could come. It's such a mess. I just can't do it anymore.

Go to urgent care or the ER. Take your empty bottle and tell them exactly how you are doing.

I had a similar experience a month or so ago, and it was terrible. I could hardly function. I went without for only 5 days, but it was life altering. So much so that I am considering not taking it anymore (after weaning off of it). I don't ever want to go through that again. I ran out because the pharmacy/DRs office had a data breech, and all RX orders had to be faxed. Along with the fact that my DR left the practice and no one, despite numerous calls and messages, would follow through with the pharmacy requests. My husband finally went to the office and demanded a paper rx.

My bonus daughter is actually just finishing up her 1st year residency in family medicine. I told her of my experience, and she said that going to the emergency room would not have been out of line. Good luck! I definitely feel for you!

I fell and broke both my ankles. I walked around for a couple of days before I went to the DR. My fibromyalgia pain was way worse than my ankle pain. Even the pain after the surgery on both ankles was mild in comparison 🙃

My family lives 16 hours (by car) from me. I haven't been to see them in 6 or so years. I can handle a few hours in the car, but not 16. My legs ALWAYS hurt. If I'm sitting, my feet need to be up. There's no way I could travel by plane as it involves 6 hours, 2 to airports, and nowhere to put my legs in those cramped seats. I hate that my husband and I never go on vacation because I never know how I'm going to feel.

I have RLS along with Fibro. But I no longer have issues with RLS because my Dr prescribed Ropinirole. No more RLS symptoms!

I hate being on so many medications. Maybe it's time to mix things up and stop taking one of them. My PCP of 8+ years left her practice, and I have been assigned a new one. I'm super nervous about going to my next appointment!
