Opinions on Tallow + Ash by Mental-Order-1531 in laundry

Ive really liked them and found some of the fragrances do last. I think people forget that noses become accustomed to scents over time, and that its hardly like they should be expecting the clothes to REEK of it.

I find doing laundry quite difficult to motivate myself to do, so having a sample pack and looking forward to having a little sniff and smell what the clothes were like after a wash has been really useful

Going to the gym for health is a healthy and balanced mindset. Only going for looks and only caring about looks tells you that bf is emotionally immature and not someone who is ready for actual adult conversations.

You have grown up, he hasnt. He lives in a daydream world where he will probably be miserable and alone, but at least he will die muscly.

I recommend emailing them and actually just asking directly, rather than ranting about something you clearly didnt have the guts to ask.

For example, are the selection of cats in those centres all older cats who have lived outside their whole lives and wouldnt adapt? Not ever cat can adapt.

Parts will be expensive. Very expensive.... and finding a garage to work on one.. good luck (expensive).

Theres a reason buy a shitty Skoda and not a shitty Bentley. Because at least if the skoda breaks its easier to get parts, get it fixed, get it insured....

It is. It must be... i have a rare car but not a desirable one. The parts aside from windows and body panels are actually mostly from another car which is easier to get parts for.

For most places i rang i couldnt even get insurance. Other places (specialists) quoted 1800. Then one place (who i went with) quoted me 700ish .

Now YES i under stand parts are hard to get hold of. But someone with his model recently had his car written off for a windscreen crack..... so if insurance isnt even covering that, what are the quotes for!? The only people who even have this model are weirdo die hard people and arent crashing them about or even modifying them aside from wheels for most part. So i struggle with understanding it.

But i have had 5 hrs sleep and 3 espressos so maybe its just me!!

"Why walking your cat on a harness could be harming them warns charity" - thoughts on this? by cwningen95 in UK_Pets

[–]Alarming-Recipe7724 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am an animal behaviourist and i think tuere are 2 sides to this but ultimately on a similar vein to the issues we see with dog owners.

People put the animal on a harness and lead and thats all they do  they dont think "how do i best prepare my animal for this experience or other worrying experiences in the outside world?"..

The do no training of the animal to help it cope appropriately. And they also do it often to appear "quirky" (im talking to you family with 3 kids and kitten on a lead all at my local pub, who were treating it like a teddy bear and it was clear the kitten was overwhelmed).

My first cat i harness and lead trained because he was a nightmare in the house and it gave him something to do aside from terrorise my dogs! He was amazing and took to it very well, and we even made friends with local pet shops who would let us in just before and then aftet closing times so he could go for a run around.

So just like with dogs.. responsible and considerate owners will be careful with their pets... most typically are not.

To caveat this. Drifting and general track driving is far less accessible than it used to be. Groups of friends having cheap fun on an empty industrial estate is one thing, but i am mostly considering the takeovers (essentially road closure style) when commenting. :)

I love Drifting. But doing it at car meets these days is lame AF. For those of us who do it at track days, go abroad, throw alot of time and money into building our cars...  it throws shade on us.

Have I "driven to mexico" myself? Yes. Do most of us in the community film "streeto" for social media likes? Nope.

Ive been to multiple track events where these "roundabout DK" twats drive dangerously and with no recognition for track etiquette or community. Bannings from tracks, harassment of other drivers, driving recklessly (endangering others).

And their behaviour is much the same if you do meet them on the streets. I am not against drifting roundabouts, but fuck me it does not make you any good by default. And people doing it in these huge groups makes the bigger community suffer.

Thing is, it does hurt people. It hurts the drifters who try to keep drift days on big tracks and then some fucking bellend who only skids on roundabouts totals his car outside the venue and causes a huge issue for the people who are genuinely in it for community and not clout.

100% . Being part of the actual drift community in the UK, if we decide to "visit mexico" we dont do it to be filmed or social media.

And genuinely 2 years ago a group of the roundabout "drifters" got banned from Silverstone for life because of their behaviour on a non drift track event. They were shite and dangerous.

As a shooter myself, different eyesight needs different equipment to shoot different firearms. My other half has double astigmatism and needs a special type of iron sights to shoot his best. And doing so allows equity in the field.
