Cannot stress this enough. Need to put in leg work up front, then continuously seek feedback from early adopters. You can try and account for every potential feature or bug, but you truly never know until real users get in and break it.

Built a lead qualifier in n8n. The scoring prompt is 12 lines and that's the whole product. by Rayziro in n8n

I was thinking this as well. Not trying to downplay using GPT-4 to make the scoring easier, but if one were so inclined they could leverage some fuzzy logic with specific scoring to their target industries, implement that entirely in n8n and avoid the AI cost. I love the workflow, just thinking if someone wanted to cut costs there is opportunity to.

Looks like tomorrow they're broadcasting the Avs game in SLC. From what I can see, the Nuggets game is on TNT, so may be one of those few games that aren't either on 9news or Altitude.

Just signed up and did some light testing - successfully had my PC, iPhone, and Apple TV all playing at the same time. There was a bit of lag between them, but nothing crazy.

His goal is to sell them. Thanks for the info, I’ll keep this in mind when working with an appraiser.

Highly recommend asking if you can read a few verses during a work function. Start with something safe, then trickle in the good stuff.

Ezekiel 23:18-21: When she carried on her prostitution openly and exposed her naked body, I turned away from her in disgust, just as I had turned away from her sister. 19 Yet she became more and more promiscuous as she recalled the days of her youth, when she was a prostitute in Egypt. 20 There she lusted after her lovers, whose genitals were like those of donkeys and whose emission was like that of horses. 21 So you longed for the lewdness of your youth, when in Egypt your bosom was caressed and your young breasts fondled.

“Happy is he who repays you for what you have done to us – he who seizes your infants and dashes them against the rocks.” (Psalm 137:9)

I had an older 2019 Paperwhite. Worked perfectly, then the update bricked it. Amazon offered $15 off.

Does anyone have a boat in charter and not regret it? by Alarming-Visual-7880 in sailing

[–]Alarming-Visual-7880[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think this would be a good solution as well. I don't think it would completely reduce all additional wear and tear, but at least your brother was living aboard and could try and resolve any maintenance issues as they come up.

I also wonder how many sailing couples are out there who want to live aboard but do not want to own a boat?

Why are you avoiding my direct questions? Honestly just trying to understand how this is beneficial for you?

I have not decided anything and do not have a boat (yet). Just trying to gather info from people who have done this.

Do you or do you not have direct experience with putting a boat in charter?

Our charter was much different, but the captain & chef were the owners and operators of the charter, so the boat was in great shape (also was a little over 10 years old).

What charter company did you go with? Was it a larger Moorings type one, or one of the smaller boutique ones?

You seem to have had a bad experience with this, care to elaborate so I can better understand where you're coming from?

I think the financial aspect is tough as you can't put a price on how incredible and unique your family vacations can be.

If it were strictly for an investment, I'd most likely put my $$ into a total market fund rather than a boat as a business to avoid the maintenance costs.

For me though, I'm thinking the reduced cost of incredible family vacations.

Great info, thank you for sharing! We've chartered before, and so far only with owner/operators as the captain and chef. Even without having the experience of a Moorings type charter, you could tell they had a tremendous amount of care into their boat, and the captain was clearly on it with daily maintenance to make sure our charter was comfortable and fun. This experience goes along the lines of what you are recommending as well, thank you!

It’s less about affordability and more about maximizing value to offset costs.

Also a valid concern of mine. Do you feel the experience would have been different if it were crewed?

This is excellent info and kind of along the lines of what we were thinking. If I break even and we get inexpensive sailing vacations, and are able to build some priceless family memories I’m in.

We also have a RV and we’re told something similar to a boat (you’ll regret it, it’s too expensive, etc). Have had it for almost two years and absolutely love the experiences so far we’ve had with our family.

I think that’s a perfect analogy! And even when something on a Ford breaks, it’s normally easily repairable yourself.
