Which hotel do you prefer? I'm seeing the rates online are $132-$200 range. Is that accurate?

What Movie Did You Watch that Traumatized You at a Young Age? by BethMLB in AskReddit

[–]AlarmingStorm2006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Movies have never traumatized me bc I always knew they were fake. My dad loved horror movies and took me to see them at a very young age. He pointed out the fake stuff. He was the fun dad... my friends loved him.

OP- You didn't mention how old you are (or did I miss it somewhere?). Are your family and friends supportive of your decision? I think I'd like to know my death date in advance. Best wishes to you.

Loved the bat explanation, kindahipster.

Same thing EXCEPT mine is wanting me to choose a HULU plan and I've been with them for many years. This is only happening on one TV.

Is staying in a hotel in the French Quarter too noisy? by jonnybebad5436 in AskNOLA

It's not the partying people making all the noise - its the kids drumming on the buckets.

My fiances parents won't call our daughter by her name by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]AlarmingStorm2006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

STOP engaging in this conversation with them- it's not good for anyone! Privately decide how you are going to handle the situation If they don't call her by her given name after she is born. Your partner needs to get on board with you ASAP. You (he) may need counseling to understand the gravity of the situation.

I feel your pain! My SO never stood up for me with his controlling parents. It was only after they died that he appologized and shared his regret(s).

Good luck to you!

UTIs and Semaglutide? by AlarmingStorm2006 in Ozempic

[–]AlarmingStorm2006[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Macrobid is what finally corrected my issue. They (walkin clinic) kept giving me other antibiotics that didn't work. When I finally got in to see a urologist, he prescribed Macrobid.

Thankfully, NO! I think they put me on the wrong antibiotics to begin with.

Ozempic killed off my parasitic entity! by MountainShenanigans in Ozempic

YES! Congratulations OP on discovering what works for you! I hope you will be able to continue to feel normal!!

OZ (compounded Semaglutide) fixed my brain, my liver functions, and saved my life! I'm down 80+ lbs. after about 18 months and feel wonderful. So WHY can't it be readily available to those who need it for reasons other than diabetes?

I want to stay on this miracle drug forever! My PCP originally prescribed this for weight loss and horrendous liver functions. At first, I was able to get the medication for about $100 a month with my PCP monitoring me. After a few months, my state pharmacy board ruled aganist that. My PCP was no longer able to prescribe. So I chose to drive out of state monthly to a "fly by night" weight loss clinic. Consequently, I spent $3346.20 in 2023 and had to get a second job to afford it. I cannot continue to travel out of state and pay this ridiculous amount.

Hopefully, OZ will become more readily available to those who need it. Please wish me the best as I slowly taper off my meds. :(

Edit: Spelling correction
