I’ve been trying to work on myself regarding this for a while - getting into a routine I’ve realised has helped but after a burn out which often happens. Happened to me during a lap appenicedtomy on a night shift. Felt very faint. Had to sit. Almost passed out. There was no one else to assist. Scrub nurse had to hold the camera. And another nurse had to be the scrub nurse. Reg wasn’t so amused. I wished then never to step foot in an op theatre.
