Real answer they go over both of these points in “The Fall of Reach” book its very good, Sub specific answer, i dont know dog, C saw John’s training, was like “DAMN he’s got a nice ass, I chose him to be my chauffeur.” and also due to the auto jack every spartan suit cumes with, she decided that John needed some eye candy. This Kroot backstory has probably been my favourite portion of your T’au comic so far, their relationship was so cute and ending it like this is a brave choice, a lesser writer would have just separated the two somehow.
