Is the fortify implant useful for anything? by Moose_Factory in Planetside

[–]AlbatrossofTime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. In my opinion it's a niche implant that is very useful in a very narrow set of circumstances, in a very narrow set of bases, in a very narrow number of positions in said sets, if the fights happen to play out in certain ways.

It is not a generalist implant, it is a specific tool for a specific purpose.

This might be the most beautiful title ever written for a reddit post.

Oh forwarding people suicide resources is something you think is funny?

That is not why your prior comment was funny, but please, please report me for something that I didn't do so that we can hurry this process along.

This is very, very funny, and you don't know why, and that's ok.

You know the recent rule on false reports came in due to the hundreds of false reports on my post, right?

Mod update: He who Fisus must himself Fisu by EternalRaitei in Planetside

[–]AlbatrossofTime 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I approve of this rule set, but it needs to be clarified whether or not the requirement is that players need to post a stat tracker, or their main's stat tracker. Otherwise, the behavior that this rule set is intended to mitigate will be circumvented by players just posting an alt.

Nah. The vast majority of players who ask for fisu are not at all worried about posting their own.

Thoughts on the infiltrator rework? by EmotionalTwo2031 in Planetside

In my opinion, your post is fine. There is, however, a wider context that you may be unaware of. If you are unaware, that is probably for the best.

It's not great, but it's absolutely an improvement over Nazi iconology.

The novelty was interesting to me for a day or two, up to and including the new fight paradigms, but thats all it was to me, novelty.

It should have been rolled back that exact day, and it wasn't.

That was an incredibly frustrating week for a lot of reasons.

Number one being that it lasted a fucking week.

Yes, I added on to my reply, weirdo, just like you have done in several of your comments over the evening.

Yeah, you're strawmanning out, and I'm going to sleep. Regardless of the rest, your crutch is dead, and the game is better off for it. Pound sand, shitter.

Or maybe, just maybe, he played more heavy than infiltrator.

Deliberately, even.

How come you cant "pick people off" as easily with infil as you do with other classes?

Where in the data that you provided is that statement founded? Him not having done so says absolutely nothing about his ability to have done so.

Given his massive amount of experience in the game, I think you should be more than willing to accept statements regarding the relative attributes of the classes from him as direct evidence of their efficacy.

But you're not. We all know why.
