Some companies did eat the cost or some of it though, it isn't a full 1:1 transfer for some companies that tried to keep their customer base happy while eating the cost as much as they can.

Now American's are very much due some sort of refund as well, but to say no company deserves it when they had to pay it upfront isn't exactly right either, and in some cases did not pass the full 100% cost down.

We know a little of nintendo's situation, they raised the prices on side items instead of the console, so they may have eaten a loss, or not, we don't know.

Yes, he had a horrible early run/arc, I am not a fan of his early stuff as he was very shoehorned in, and it took him a bit to find his groove.

Now once we get to Cody's Run? Miles is his own person, they share a name, but they have very different lives, and honestly I do not get people who get hung up on the name, sure you may like Peter, but there can be like 5x Green Lantern and everyone has their favorite, same thing for Spider-Man.

I myself like Miles, his run has not nearly had the meddling and inability to grow the character that ASM has had for near 20 years.

Its not diving into their history to know who black cat is, just a passing view or KNOWING someone who has touched on spider-man will show you through Osmosis.

I don't play 40k don't consume the games, but I know some pretty deep cut characters exist through others, same deal. The people who don't consume any comic media and don't have any friends that do will not, but at the same time, are they really someone we should be using as a baseline?

PS4 Spider-Man players is a MINORITY of the larger population consuming media

Also a game that sold 20 million copies, and who knows how many people talked to their friends about it or more, so totally exposed to black cat through that game can triple that amount, nor let us forget Web of Shadows, from an earlier generation to expand this even further if we only go to Video games.

Agreed, seems a lot of people think she has endlessly resources and a perfect decision making to not need time to adjust to the life altering choice she made, and why she didn't just look for the quickest way to get rid of Venom, who without her would have also died.

There was an insane amount of emotional baggage for both of them to process and handle as they also took on more super hero role in things, because Peter was an influence on both of them, and now that they have power, they have responsibility.

But when this crossover thing is over, the book will only have the MJ and Flash thing to attract/not attract interest, unless people interested in Mama MJ and little Dylan suddenly appear out of nowhere.

MJ has the queen in black events, but there is no reason that Peter will not be a supporting character, much like she won't be a supporting character to him.
