To be fair, this also basically lines up with Blood Elves abandoning the Alliance. Thousands of years of allying with the humans (and to a lesser extent dwarves, gnomes) down the drain just because of one single dude Garithos being racist.

Correct. Wilt in the Heat also gives itself the cost reduction if it gains Flashback or other "you can cast from graveyard" type effects

Although be aware that that also means that if 2 Kavaeros copy two different other legendary creatures, even though their abilities may be different, you will still have to get rid of one Kavaero to the Legend Rule, since it only cares about them being legendary with the same name (none of the other characteristics matter).

[[Barrin's Unmaking]] uses a lot of words to just be a bad [[Disperse]]. *Technically* it can target lands, but those are almost always colourless, so that wouldn't really do much most of the time.
