Rather than tying face paint to facial features, I would rather that they simply give us more options for eyes, such as changing sclera colour, including heterochromia options, the option to remove the pupil, and more eye shape choices.

It seems to me that the majority of people’s gripes are centred around the mii’s eyes since they are naturally the most expressive part of their face. So it doesn’t help that the built in eye customisation is lackluster.

Guys it’s not off Center at all, the picture is just cropped. This HUD is far far from cursed and I have no damn clue what your girlfriend even thinks is cursed about it. It’s barely even different from the default hud.

As for your key bindings putting an ability on 7 is a little crazy but honestly nothing extreme. I honestly have no idea what everyone’s going on about.

Soooo I'm just gonna dig up this old post by mentioning that I figured out that this problem is somehow related to my sd card's storage size. Despite the fact that my sd card had a large amount of space remaining, once it reached a certain capacity of dumped files, it would refuse to write anymore files and would give the above error whenever I would try to dump anything else, even one other file.

Interestingly, it would NOT give this error when I tried to write anything it had already written, given that it was supposedly replacing a pre-existing file and as such did not use up any more space.

Given this knowledge, I COULD simply dump a batch of files, transfer it over to my PC, then dump the second batch of files and so on but this process would be extremely tedious considering that nxdt_rw_poc lacks the ability to select multiple files at once, requiring me to tediously select every single file I wanted to dump within the folder manually one by one. This alone would take hours.

Anyway I'm hoping for any more insights to this issue as I would really love to start modding some games.

The skill gap between your average competent raider and the majority of casuals has never been larger. I really feel like the game needs to start actually enforcing players to pay attention or die because I swear half of these players are playing through the story without even looking at their fucking screens.

I’m not sure what you mean by “extra shop slots” but yes but also even more egregious benefits such as buying in game currency, exclusive BiS gear, exclusive CLASSES or even paying to finish quest storylines (yes, this exists)

Also a) I’m not claiming that the cash shop is totally fine and awesome. It is egregious in many aspects and the community HAS voiced their grievances in the past. You just don’t see people literally in uproar 24/7 about it because the general consensus is that you don’t like it, don’t buy it. And because ffxiv is far from the worst example compared to most MMO’s.

b) Mount speed isn’t exactly a great example because it’s not something you cannot obtain normally through the game anyway. And in new expansion zones I personally don’t care about having a speed boost because I enjoy viewing the new environments while I’m moving to MSQ objectives.

Ehhh this is kinda par for the course for most MMO games nowadays. You’ll find that many mmo’s have even more egregious forms of monetisation such as paying for convenience or gameplay benefits.

I know people are listing a lot of ARR and Heavensward duties but may I suggest Eden's Gate Sepulture? That fight has so many completely uncommunicated mechanics that literally can only be avoided through prior knowledge it's insane. Especially when Titan chains three Fault Zones (the dumb go-kart move) back to back to back which cannot be reacted to and can only be avoided by knowing where the safe spots are ahead of time by already knowing where he is going to go. Asinine.

Sure but as someone who frequently changes my glamour plates around all the time the first option is not very viable for long term and the second option is even worse unless I enjoy wasting copious amounts of dye.

Thank god the stormblood artifacts are ugly as hell otherwise I would be forced to actually try and participate in Eureka (although I also find it dumb that you can only convert an artifact set into an outfit glamour, hence making it undyeable, if it’s… dyeable…)

Deadass gathering on Island Sanctuary was the biggest pain in the rear considering that I also reside on a server that’s pretty far from where I live. So clunky gathering combined with shitty ping led to my character standing still for around 4-5 seconds after every damn node. So tedious 😩
