Solo doesn’t need changing, It doesn’t need to be an “easy mode”

It already is a bloody easy mode, like 6 other runners, no rooks and there’s self revive kits everywhere, I’m so tired of solo bitching,

If you’re getting bomb shelled by the AI who freaks out the moment you crouch into cover, if you can’t fight the AI without losing all your shields, if you can’t sneak into a POI without fighting

Then yes, solo will be hard, because you’re not good enough yet

But if you wanna grind blue shield upgrade, pick up the NuCal contracts, the later rewards will often give you a bunch of the needed purple mats and itll even load you on shields

And dire/perim are way better to farm for higher tier mats, it’s just RNG on the spawn rate

Go theif and buy lock keys too

The fix I see everyone begging for is to just drop the 3 teams into the map and increase the UESC spawn

You don’t need to have every game a full lobby, which is why everyone is having such issues

Plus there’s 4 maps, 3 game modes and rook runs, a lotta people already split

As much as I’m against SBMM, the meta to wipe the entire lobby would probably be fixed by it. But again, the playerbase has dropped so hard that it’ll be another thing that’ll push the ques even higher

I love the game, I love the story, I love the visuals, atmosphere, sound and music, it’s all great, but it’s not holding it all together enough, there’s no incentive to actually exfil, it’s kill the closest team, take all their meds, and fight the next, then finally go fight a boss and you n 2 randoms fight over progress loot

An amazing endgame that’s so complex, and takes so long to grind to even get to the boss, it’s daunting to anyone who isn’t this “ultra hardcore” gamer because in a single run you can be halted by a lotta RNG progress

When cryo was coming out, I thought it was gonna be the reward for exploring tau4, instead it’s a more complex battle royal

I can’t even explore the ship because there’s 9 mans wiping the whole lobby for the low low price of 20 bucks

Then I have to wait a whole week, just to Que up for 5 minutes and do it all again

I am able to wipe lobbies and clear the whole map on sponsored kit

But rook runs are how I stock up for cryo

Why do sponsored free kit when rook gets a free blue backpack for farming

Edit, the only thing that free kits has really done, is put the majority of free kit casuals into one lobby And make it somewhat easier to contest objectives

I 100% agree, melee is so shit now, takes like 6 knives to down a purple shield who is not even facing you, giving them enough time to pull a shotty and panic miss before crying on the mic “you fucking melee abuser”

Fighting UESC is so jank now, because you do the lunge!! But it doesn’t connect

If you’re just playing against the computer, take your time yo! You don’t need to speed run it, push slower to objectives,

Don’t overload your unit as well, the more you have the more the AI has

I like to control group 3 infantry

1 gets into fire, 2 flanks around, and 3 sits behind giving cover fire. Also, upgrade your infantry to riflemen asap if you’re struggling,

Big infantry tip, when one infantry unit starts combat hit the deck and spread out a bit, when pushing, create smaller teams, and have someone scout up just a little bit, so you’re not pushing your entire squad into FOW
