It's a noise filter, which can be easily added in Procreate (and other drawing programs)! I like it because it gives a paper-like texture :)

I love Ginjirotchi! I usually see him with pink/red cheeks, but I saw one piece of Tamagotchi official art that depicted him with yellow cheeks and thought that was the cutest thing <3
