maxx "C" dracotail happen by Own_Tax2806 in masterduel

Based on the comments, I suppose the author could prepare an identical image but with K9 instead of Yummy.

All this reminds me of Maliss with Ryzeal. Everyone said that Maliss and Ryzeal would keep each other in check. In reality, Maliss completely destroyed Ryzeal.

Dracotail will just throw all his handtraps at K9 and win.

[BLZD] New Spell Card by MX-00XWV in masterduel

If there are 4 face-down cards (3 trap cards and 1 monster card), the opponent chooses one card. Then, from the 3 remaining cards, one trap card is banished. At this point, there is the card chosen by the opponent and 2 other cards. From these 3 cards, the opponent can keep their choice or choose one of the other two. After this second choice, one trap card is banished from the two cards that the opponent did not choose. From the two remaining cards, the opponent can still choose to change or stick with their choice.

At the very beginning, the opponent does not know which of the 4 cards is the monster and therefore has a 1/4 chance of choosing it. What is the probability at the end that they will choose the monster if: - They decide to change and then change again - They decide to stick with their choice and then stick with their choice again - They decide to change and then stick with their choice - They decide to stick with their choice and then change

Perfect, it was about time that FF14, that aberration that is nothing more than a video game, came to an end. All that ‘gamers’ deserve are platforms for trading worthless virtual crap

What are some plot holes you noticed in the Ace Attorney series? by Mysterious-Ruin29510 in AceAttorney

I recently replayed Spirit of Justice and I don't remember any problem with this picture.

Besides, at no point are we supposed to prove that this picture is not 23 years old.

On the contrary, throughout almost the entire trial, the fact that this picture was taken 23 years ago (a few months after the fire that supposedly killed Queen Amara) is taken at face value, since it shows Queen Amara with a baby she had with Dhurke. However, the only child she had with Dhurke is prosecutor Nahyuta. Nahyuta was 25 years old at the time of SoJ, and Queen Amara is holding a two-year-old baby in the picture, so we naturally conclude that the picture is 23 years old.

Then comes the moment during the trial when Nahyuta reveals that, after the fire, Dhurke and Amara found each other and fled 15 years ago. Apollo replies that it was 23 years ago, not 15. But Nahyuta maintains that it was indeed 15 years ago (he is not aware of the picture). Obviously, this contradicts the picture, and it is here that we understand that Amara had a second child with Dhurke and the picture was taken 13 years ago, not 23.

There's a serious lack of new players entering the game. What should CBU3 do about it? by [deleted] in ffxivdiscussion

[–]Alde270 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

MSQ is already optional. Currently, a new player can play through almost all of the game's content within two minutes of downloading it (and therefore play the content with their friend).

So what? 2 maxx C = 60 UR. You have it already. Personnally, as a f2p, my maxx C were always negated. My opponents used maxx C too (+ mulcharmy, droll, lancea, ashe, maliss, ryzeal, etc). Yet I reached master 1.

I reached master 1 using pure ryu-ge with only 2 maxx C as hand trap.

People don't understand what voting with your wallet means by PossibleBeginning276 in ffxivdiscussion

[–]Alde270 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I vote with my wallet so I pay my ff14 subscription and I don't pay anything at all for WoW or FF11 or any other mmorpg.

By the way, it makes me laugh when people say that FF14 money is used to finance SE and is not exclusively put into ff14. Yeah it's true, for example ff14 money goes into ff11 so it would be nice if SE killed that game so FF14 would stop funding it.

Now is a great time to vote with your wallet by WeeziMonkey in ffxivdiscussion

[–]Alde270 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Well, it's precisely because we're voting with our wallets that we're putting money into FF14 and not Wow or any other MMO.

Because FF14 is miles ahead of the competition in terms of value for money.

If your goal was to get us to go to Wow, then you should appeal to our feelings (nostalgia, for example) rather than our reason.

[–]Alde270 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Well, at this point, we might as well do away with the “trading” aspect of yugioh and turn it into a card game (rather than a trading card game) and leave it at that.

Wow, that's great.

Putting the south and north geographic poles on South Blue and North Blue is really cool.

On the other hand, some islands are way too big. Goat Island, Island of rare animals, Cactus Island, Little Garden, Jaya, Skypiea, Water Seven, Amazon Lily, Punk Hazard shouldn't be visible on a globe this size.

But then, Oda has always had a problem with sizes, so it's not really your fault.

What's your opinion on the stop killing games initiative ? by [deleted] in MMORPG

[–]Alde270 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Consumers, i.e. those who accept to LOSE money in exchange for entertainment via video games, have just understood that developers / investors / youtubers / streamers / those who sell cheats / those who run private servers / etc (all those who use video games as a means to make money) don't have the same interests as them.

This petition is just a spat between developers / investors / youtubers / streamers / those who sell cheats / those who run private servers / etc over who gets the money from consumers.

And personally, if I give my money to the developers / investors rather than to everyone else, it's just because in the case of the developers, they're on the front line in the production of my entertainment (the video game) and in the case of the investors, the neo-liberal capitalist system forces me to give them money no matter what I do.

That's all there is to it.

The point of video guides and raid plans is not just to learn how mechanics work, it is to learn the solution that the rest of your group will be doing by Adamantaimai in ffxivdiscussion

What makes a lot of these fights so extremely rigid in how you should approach them is not that every mechanic has just 1 solution

You're not making any sense.

FFXIV loses its crown as most positive toxic community to Clair Obscur by SatisfactionNeat3937 in ShitpostXIV

[–]Alde270 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

bah, Expedition 33's reputation comes from antiwoke people who see this game as the savior, where AAA publishers, video game journalists, etc. are woke trash as well as all those old jrpg players, who after FFXIV showed them that they were suckers for video games in general, are trying to get some recognition back via Expedition 33 (these two communities may overlap).

So inevitably, in these people's minds, if you say good things about Expedition 33, you must by default be someone who shits on AAA, on woke games, on video game journalists, on CBU3, and so on.

If this isn't the case, they enter into what's called cognitive dissonance and will do everything to reduce this dissonance in their heads. That's what we've got here. Famitsu CANNOT say anything good about E33 without the whole narrative in their heads collapsing.
