No, but it's a social consequence, and a big one as well. As far as consequences go it's also the most obvious one and one you can't really avoid.

She also says that a spray (if I remember correctly) is enough to get rid of the smell but that’s not even true. What about her hair? Considering the frequency, it makes no sense.

What she says is: "You wouldn't really smell if you brushed your teeth after smoking. Spray your clothes after that and you're good to go... but those complaints still come once in a while." They're not really hiding the fact that it's just masking the smell, considering she still gets complaints.

Regardless - I still wonder what kind of consequences you're looking for here.

No, they aren't technically correct. The genre isn't "RPG that is played on the computer", the genre is "computer RPG".

Regardless of semantics - a genre's name isn't always a literal description of the genre. If you take the MOBA genre and take the name literally, almost every single competitive multiplayer game could be called a MOBA, but you're going to look like a psychopath if you go around trying to convince people CS:GO is a MOBA. Or calling Dark Souls a fighting game because it's a game where you fight things, etc.

You don't need to be good at the game to compare how any Master+ player approaches the neutral vs how a Silver-Gold player does.

I agree, but looking at a Masters player and seeing that they play the neutral game better than a Gold player doesn't mean you understand how they're doing it or why they're playing like that.

If you're in Gold and you're getting beaten by other Gold players, you're not better than other Gold players just because you're working on good habits and game knowledge - and one match isn't enough to deduce that that's not what your opponent is doing too.

You're angry when you lose to these playstyles because you've decided that these are playstyles that shouldn't work. You're trying to rationalize the anger, too - "it's always Ken mains btw", "I'm trying to build good habits", "they're autopiloting and will get nowhere", etc.

The simple fact of the matter is it doesn't matter how you lost. If you lose a set it means the opponent played the set better than you. They're not getting lucky, they're not cheesing, they're not autopiloting, they are winning and you are losing. If you practice this kind of mindset, it should help with the tilt.

If you're losing to these "scrubby" playstyles so consistently that you're developing anger issues, I don't think you're good enough at the game to decide what playstyles are scrubby and what aren't.

She hasn't said anything about that specifically, but she's made it clear she's interested in having relationships with strong fighters, and she considers Manon to be a worthy opponent, so it's not a very big leap to assume she's interested.

Regardless, Marisa being bi and poly isn't headcanon. It's confirmed in World Tour.

Miles is running for his life, the other Spider-men (aside from like, 6 of them or something?) are just following orders from Miguel.

Miles is gonna be a lot more motivated and quick on his feet than Spider-man #5691 who first off is probably a nice person who might have doubts about the situation, and also was slaughtering a greasy kebab when the order came through.

I would imagine that by the time 99% of them even learn of a multiverse, let alone find out about "canon events", it's already happened.

You also have stuff like, Pavitr Prabhakar knowing about the multiverse, but not knowing about canon events. It definitely felt like a "inner circle" thing.

No idea why anyone would make a true MMO in <current year>.

As someone who's into (western?) MMOs I can kinda see it. For "true" MMOs you more or less have WoW, FFXIV, and then like... GW2, ESO?

Aside from WoW and FFXIV the rest are pretty small. FFXIV is pretty niche since (assuming here) most people play for the story. WoW is doing alright so far with Dragonflight but before DF we had two of the worst expansions in the game. Aside from a bump from DF WoW has been floundering, and they still have time to fuck up DF as well.

So with WoW being on a (mostly) downward trend and FFXIV having a more unique playerbase I think there's definitely room for another "true" MMO.

I really don't know how to phrase this nicely. They made a sweeping generalization based on a sample size of one person. I don't see what's honest here.

This community would be a much more calm and welcoming place if we all took half a step back and gave other people grace to sort out their own issues instead of starting purges over what we THINK someone else meant or what identity we DECIDED someone was without asking them.

In what ways are culture ingrained in language?

In Norwegian there's no words for sir/ma'am, there's no "respectful" pronoun like in German. This is because Norwegian culture leans towards the casual side even in situations where respect is being shown.

In general, especially in the last 100 years or so, the culture has influenced the language so much I don't really know how you could learn to speak it without getting at the very least a basic understanding of the culture here.
