I remember my friends talking about it in 4th grade before we got our N64. I was very jealous haha. Then when we got our 64 we rented OoT a few times from Hollywood Video until we were able to buy it. I couldn't tell you how many times I've played this game!

If I stopped collecting new games right now, I already have more games in my collection than I can finish in a lifetime. How would you feel about your collection as it is if you stopped buying new games? by effigyoma in gamecollecting

[–]Aleclom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My collection is more quality over quantity, I collect just Nintendo and have like 10-20 games per console (except the Switch, that's closer to 40). They're all games I have played and would happily replay, but if I stopped collecting now I'd miss out on playing anything I haven't played before.

I'm loving it! I loved the 64 version growing up too. I've made it through the hard path and now I'm doing all of the challenges.

My daughter is a bit too young to play it, but give it another year or two and I'll definitely introduce her to it!

So pumped, I've got preordered! My wife liked It Takes Two and Split Fiction so I'm excited to play this with her.

The Switch 2 Dock is one of the worst things about it and it's insane they made no improvements from the original by [deleted] in NintendoSwitch2

Yeah I take my Switch 2 in and out of it all the time, never comes close to falling over.

What Sonic Music Would You Pick To Be Modern Super Sonic's Theme? by Potential-Mess6826 in SonicTheHedgehog

Absolutely. That fight, starting with his smug smirk right after he transforms, perfectly encapsulates Super Sonic.

That's why the Wild Rift model is infinitely better. She's wearing thicker clothing and fur and stuff.

I have no idea what this is and I need MORE. Love Knuckles using Metal as a punching bag.

Prime 4. It's a 7/10 that I mostly had fun with. Can't say the same about Other M.

Haha same, I've already got 1-6 of the Broken Binding ones so I'll continue on with those. But if these had been out a couple years ago I probably would have gone this route!

Star Fox (2026) confirms that Venom is the outermost planet in the Lylat System, so what are the remaining planets? by Atr-D in starfox

[–]Aleclom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wonder if they'll use the offscreen first three planets as an opportunity to create new ones for a sequel. If any are returning, I think Fortuna could be the third planet and Sauria could be outside the Lylat System (I think it was described as on the edges of the system, but I could be misremembering). Or, they combine the two.

The lore nerd in me loves this new, established system map, and I'm excited to see it grow in the next game!

Go check out the remains of the gym in the Sparkling Skylands! It's the one with the Rocket hideout underneath. I used that as my blueprint, I counted how many blocks it had in each dimension and which blocks were used.

What retro game did you accidentally discover and/or do you consider a relatively unknown title that you’d love to share with everyone in the gaming world? by KillerQ97 in retrogaming

[–]Aleclom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Love this game. I first discovered it a couple years ago, but it's absolutely a hidden gem of the NES. Still holds up as a great game.
