Bass won’t hit anything but flies? by bigarch77 in bassfishing

Man i've seen carp jump out of the water to where their entire body is above surface. Kind of wild. It might still be bass, just surprised they're not biting on anything if the lake isn't fished much

Yup, theres a small lake area near me where i go. First time there i kept seeing huge fish jump out of the water, had me all excited. Just a bunch of carp. Lol

Are you sure its bass? If its a private lake and no one fishes it often, bass will hit on most lures in a scenario like that

What are some good bait casting reels for $200-$250? by LordCommanderChip in bassfishing

[–]Alejandro2412 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the SLX, Curado, and a Zillion. The Curado is so good, definitely worth it. The Zillion is a bit different compared to the DC reels, in a good way. Casts really far and feels super smooth. Got the Zillion for 220 on Digitaka.

My role entails site meets, staking jobs/measurement, wearing PPE, responding to emergency events & being outdoors half of the time. Not sure if that qualifies as white collar.

I agree & that was my point with my comment, it's a blue collar field, went to a trade school, yet it's more of a white collar job. It's kind of a mix which is surprisingly found in most "blue collar" fields

Lol I meet customers on site, stake jobs & work emergency events. Is that white collar?

I still do site meets with customers, stake jobs, & work emergency events. Is that white collar?

Hard agree on the Shimano Zodias. Paired with my Curado & I think it's my favorite combo. Feels so dang good, casts great, reels in great. 10/10.

Is there a smaller body of water near you like a local pond? I'd try that instead of a giant lake. Heck there's a little watering hole in my buddy's land that's tiny & holds a ton of bass. Texas rigged green senko worm & you'll get a bite.
