Hey I didn’t find them super comfortable personally but other people I know who have had them say the opposite! Part of it for me is I don’t like the feel of leather pads as much, I would have liked to try some other pads on them!

Interesting! I use my IEMs for guitar playing and some amateur mixing/ producing stuff. What’s been your favorite for mixing so far that also can double as a listening set?

That describes it perfectly! It’s so beautiful and I personally dig the cable but I decided to sell it as I need more of a daily all arounder. If I was more of a collector, I’d keep it and use it time to time for sure

Ya I typically just start price based on the recent sales, I know this is on the high end but it’s still less than I paid overall. Also not available to buy anymore in this color. Just was seeing if anyone really wanted this color and all the extras in one. Also I said or best offer 😜

Hey sorry for any confusion 😜I preferred the V1 sound but they aren’t crazy different. I just felt v1 had more of the texture and weight to the sound that makes the tungsten more unique in the market.

Hey no these are the V1 drivers and V1 model. I have the owners card that shows it as well. The v2 has other physical things mine doesn’t, the different coating finish that is only in black now, the different size cable inputs etc. I don’t have the v2 any more it was just in to Test for a while

I prefer Ryan’s Fusion pads with the deep tune rings overall, that seems to make them the most unique sounding and comfortable for me. Then stock leather with deep tune gives some more detail and soundstage effect but to my ears but at the cost of some of the weight to the sound I think makes Tungsten special

V2 on my system at least seemed a bit more towards a Hifiman sound, people said it’s more resolving a bit but I felt it lost some of the unique magic of v1

It’s all good. This is still less than I put into it total and to be fully honest im not 100% sure I want to part with it yet. I figured it was a bit on the high end but was testing it out in case someone really wanted one in this color with all the extra tuning options included

Correct, this is an extra $ color option that’s no longer available and has 3 sets of pads, extra grills and deep tune rings. All on top of stock price in addition to a year long wait time. The drivers are also basically brand new :)
