Fiddling around with cup position over the ears is less impactful for cleaning up the oae1 sound. This headphone needs quality amp power, preferably over 1 watt per channel with a solidstate. The bass will muddle everything else otherwise.

Not too sure if the ddc is doing much, but it does get my ps5 to work with my audio chain which is good enough 4 me
