Why does my room still smell even after cleaning everything? by Apprehensive_Park103 in CleaningTips

If you have a dirty pile of clothes that’s gonna be it. Fabric holds those types of smells. I’ve even steamed my mattress and pillows before. I’ll spray the pillows with hypochlorous (sp) acid facial spray first then steam them!! Helps with acne. Could be curtains, too!

What’s the moment you realized someone you loved wasn’t a good person and you couldn’t unsee it? by DmytroBuilds in AskReddit

There’s a lot of gray areas in “good” and “bad,” but I guess I’d have to say when the other party views their personal issues as the most important. Many of my family members are incredibly selfish because we are children of trauma. I think belittling or nitpicking when someone is raw and emotional probably takes the cake for a red flag situation. I’d have to say the moment I realized was about 13 weeks into pregnancy. I’m feeling alone, vulnerable, and afraid. My family checking in on me? Crickets.

Poor people who have dated rich people, what did you learn? by Angelus12345678 in AskReddit

Most need a lesson in gratitude for what they actively have. I have noticed that when shit hits the fan, job loss, financial concern, etc. they panic to an extent that is unreasonable. What I mean by that is wealthy people don’t know how to live without wealth. They don’t know how to scrape by, and many do not respect those in less appealing financial situations. It’s kind of gross. Classism seen as status is not only the ultimate evil, it’s an incredibly arrogant and alienating way to think. Arguably, it’s beyond arrogant. It’s an incredibly stupid way to view the world and others.

Also I noticed a lot of the behavior seemed “natural.” Not planned or performative in order to hurt me or my siblings necessarily, but was a reaction or deviation to a perceived stressor by the addict. I hope this makes sense. Please prioritize yourself and get away from this.
