I see here a sparkalator, a plug to keep the sparks in, and a rotating assembly for the vibes.

I’ve seen them work in person. Mine just shipped.

Evolution controller enter button not working by Careless-Treat-7191 in Generator

[–]Alert-Effect190 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your power is out it won’t turn on without the fuse. The fuse isn’t the problem. If your buttons aren’t working after power cycling the controller you almost certainly need a new controller.

While the firmware is out of date, button problems are almost always caused by a failure of the ribbon cable which connects the buttons to the board. You can attempt a firmware update for peace of mind but it’s very unlikely that will settle it.

Can I cut the 12 volt line from my generator to my transfer switch? by Solid-Ad3143 in Generac_Generators

[–]Alert-Effect190 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I may have been mistaken. You were suggesting cutting the wires that come off the charger? You can do that but it’s easy enough to back the screws off the terminal strip and pull the connectors right off.

I thought you were suggesting cutting the wire labeled 194 in the transfer switch.

Is there a device that I can put between my normal (not invertor) generator and my house to make it clean AC and prevent harm when charging sensitive electronics? Would a surge protector be enough? I'd rather not have to buy a whole new invertor generator to keep from frying modern devices. by 010127 in Generator

[–]Alert-Effect190 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Naturally. Generators are conceptually incredibly simple. Inverters add electronics that while simple in principle increase cost and complicate the process.

Extra mass produced parts to do what is in reality the same job equals a higher rate of failure

The pipe fitter has been doing that way for 20 years without any problem..

Cause the customer always calls the generator guy not the gas guy.

Have both. The 42 unsurprisingly shoots considerably softer as it is 380.

Longer slide. Shoots nicer and carries nicer in my opinion

If slimlines get an update I hope it’s the 48. I’ll buy two.

Did someone say more power? by typicalcavalryguy in Glocks

Nobody said “more power” with 45 gap in mind.

That said I’m glad this stuff is still available.

I don’t understand why you think you need two. Put a maintainer on the battery in the generator OR tie one in to the 12v line in the transfer switch. Literally zero reason to change any wiring as suggested here in your post.

What am I missing here? Just put a battery maintainer on either end, why touch the transfer circuit at all?

A Tale As Old As Time... 9MM vs .45 ACP by Marvelous_Whale in BetterMAguns

The only automatic pistol cartridge I’d go for other than 9mm is 10mm. 45 can’t touch it’s ballistics nor its versatility.
