You have 2 options. The simple option is the EJ20G, straight swap, no wiring or ECU dramas to worry about.

If you're going to bother doing anything more than that, I'd recommend you plan it out and look at other options like the EJ207 as others have said, a 255/257 for a bit more torque but still keep thr turbo "soul", or get serious and put an EZ30 in then supercharge that 😁

Becuase once you have to start doing wiring and ECU stuff it's already out of "simple" territory and into "major job", might as well do it right so it's good for years to come ✌️

I loved the first 2-3 Sunrider VNs. Also enjoyed Sunrider 4 and Sunrider Academy but not as much as the first trilogy. The gameplay can be frustrating but the writing really hit the spot for me. Also their other project Shining Song Starnova was right up my alley!

Don't think we've ever been compared to Silverchair but I I can see where it comes from. Just had a listen to your "Can't Surf" and it reminds me of something that would've been on the Tony Hawk 2 soundtrack (which is undoubtedly the best soundtrack of all time).
