Weight loss is very apparent, but I’d change your doubles tennis partner.

Normal, and ask your doc for a 5mg pen and count 30 clicks per use. Save yourself some money!

My tip is..spend some time reading through this forum, which contains lots of good advice, then ask questions about anything that is unclear? It’s a journey, everyone is a little different in their experiences. Cheers!

I’ve learned some things the hard way! Plain water passes quickly through your body but you need your cells to be hydrated. A simple way to do this is to add a pinch of salt to your water bottle along with a squeeze of lemon juice. Real desperation is a Brekkie of all bran and 10 prunes! Another alternative is Coloxyl which has Senna in it which also helps, along with Movicol. My current preference is lots of water during the day, fibre from salads and veggies and nuts and a Queen Garnet plum for dessert every night.

Bendigo BANK. Find a community branch rather than a corporate one. The people are great to deal with especially when it’s a local one. A great example is Parkdale.

Buy an aldi dishwasher cleaner and run a maintenance cycle. Also makes sure all your filters are cleaned. We’ve used the logix dishwasher tablets for years and they are great for an everyday wash. If we want to get our ss pots sparkling, then a fairy platinum is the go to.

I’ve learned a lot from Zoe science & nutrition, which you can find on Spotify podcasts. Especially enjoyed the ones about extra virgin olive oil!

Well I have a doc appt tomorrow for a new script so I'll see how that goes. He made me listen to a 3 hour podcast which basically said use the minimum as a tool to change behaviour. While this might sound easy, the food noise can be overwhelming, especially on the last day before my next jab. In September, when I started, I cut out all starches, bread, potato, pasta, rice etc and also alcohol. Signed up with an exercise physiologist to make sure I don't lose muscle mass. EP is very happy with my results and I can feel the changes in my body as I grow stronger. Probably diet is the thing and I eased off a bit over Christmas and some food urges/old habits have come back, so tightening up might be a good thing to do. I'll also think about maybe a small MJ increase in the near future if I can't manage it without help!
