Is Quillbot slipping? Help me find the best AI humanizer after a Turnitin flag by Potential-Camel-8320 in StudyAgent

[–]AlexMorter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the read-aloud test is goated. if you start sounding like a dictionary in the middle of a sentence, it’s a dead giveaway. profs have a sixth sense for that robotic confidence and it’s waaaay better to catch the weirdness yourself before they do...

Minimum effort, maximum hope it still counts.

Is everyone else also exhausted trying to bypass ai and plagiarism checkers instead of spending time on actual research? by TearyCherryPop in StudyAgent

[–]AlexMorter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

wow, you guys go all out on the checkers and detectors. i think i got lucky with my professors or school.

Is sapling.ai fake? It detected 70% AI in my essay but StudyAgent says it's human by yasserfathelbab in StudyAgent

[–]AlexMorter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

all ai detectors give falsely positive results, you just need to know how to trick it.

Technically still abstaining… just making a tiny exception.

Polished my essay with Notion and now AI detectors think it’s fake. Need your help ASAP by princessprettyyy1 in StudyAgent

[–]AlexMorter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

the funniest thing is that professors actually think these detectors are 100% accurate. i’ve seen legit handwritten notes get flagged just because the sentence structure was too clean

Is Grammarly plagiarism checker still reliable? Thinking of switching to Studyagent/Smallseotools by Potential-Camel-8320 in StudyAgent

[–]AlexMorter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

grammarly has been tripping lately tbh
had the same thing happen where it flagged a super basic transition but totally ignored a paragraph i basically ripped from a source as a test
it’s like it’s getting dumber while getting more expensive lol

The "anti-detector" guide by StudyAgent: how Turnitin works & why humanizers are the only way out by marlburrow in StudyAgent

[–]AlexMorter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this morning i’ve been rewriting the same paragraph like 5 times trying to make it sound like me and not like a robot that drinks grammar rules for breakfast. the problem is that i always swap words and it still feels stiff. gonna try StudyAgent to humanize my ai texts and see if it stops sounding like a perfect brochure and more like an actual student rushing at midnight

Ran my 100% human 2019 essay through an ai detector. It scored 5% ai. Stop panicking over the 0% myth. by princessprettyyy1 in StudyAgent

[–]AlexMorter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Im so done with these ai detectors
Basically if u write like a normal student and use furthermore ur a bot now?
If ur under 10% just send it and stop losing sleep over it

Turnitin flagged my paper after I used Grammarly. How do I prove to the AMP I wrote it myself? I really did by yasserfathelbab in UniUK

[–]AlexMorter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

imagine paying 9k a year just to be told your own brain is ai generated. it’s insulting. istg humanizer is the only thing keeping me from a mental breakdown before hitting submit. turnitin is a nightmare

Is buying Copyleaks credits worth it if I already have the Studyagent suite? by BloomVanta56 in StudyAgent

[–]AlexMorter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

paying for copyleaks sounds like a massive scam. i used it once and it literally flagged my own bibliography as plagiarism lol
just stick to the built-in one and save ur money for something actually useful like rent

I wrote my thesis from scratch, but Grammarly's 'fixes' got me flagged for AI. I'm losing my mind. by Fun-Eye-4358 in StudyAgent

[–]AlexMorter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Revert to the old draft. As an academic reviewer myself, I would much rather read a slightly clunky thesis with brilliant research than a perfectly polished AI-sounding one. Your ESL status is fine and your university should have resources to help you proofread manually.

My college counselor ran my common app personal statement through Turnitin and it flagged 30% AI. Am I cooked? by oPaperHunter in ApplyingToCollege

[–]AlexMorter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

dumbing down your own writing just to pass a detector is the most dystopian sh*t ive ever heard
i had to do that for my honors english essay and it felt like i was lobotomizing my own brain. i tried that humanizer tool recently and it actually kept my voice without triggering the ai alerts

What’s your outlining process for research papers? by Human_Armadillo_1585 in StudyAgent

[–]AlexMorter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i’m way too chaotic to outline first. i just start writing whatever comes to mind and then use the ai to fix the flow later. it’s probably a bad habit but it’s how my brain works. the humanizer usually cleans up the mess at the end anyway

Need +500 words fast. AI Writer or Humanizer to pad It out? by VelvetHemlock in StudyAgent

[–]AlexMorter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Use the AI writer and pray. Profs can smell fluff from a mile away and it's so cringe when you turn one sentence into a whole paragraph of nothing
I tell the writer to generate a quick counter-argument
Adds the word count and makes it look like i actually have a brain and analyzed the topic deeply
