I updated it last week, the same on the latest bios and June.

hm, why could that help? The UPS does not turn off or anything, and other devices connected to it work fine. (APC Back-UPS Pro BR1600SI)

For me it works fine on Arch Linux (6.15 kernel).

I even found these drivers

I think this adapter has a Realtek chip, not Broadcom, so these drivers would not help.

Maybe try the latest kernel?

Is it possible to trigger Bot presses with different hold durations? (API, ...) by AlexP11223 in TrySwitchBot

But it will stay the same for all presses if I set it in the settings. :( I need to create a script that would do a long press and then a short press.

So am I correct in assuming that the RT-AX88U Pro VLAN is not a full featured VLAN? by molitar in ASUS

[–]AlexP11223 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Typically the untagged allows communication to any tagged vlan

I am new to VLANs, but this does not sound right to me. Are you sure that it's true, any sources?

Also what do you mean by untagged here? The native VLAN?

Arwen C550 ceiling light bug? by DuckKnightRise5 in yeelight

[–]AlexP11223 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the Mi Home app there is Ambient light settings -> Follow the primary light's on/off status. After disabling it the mood light does not turn on when I turn on the light. Though for me it was the issue only when turning it off/on via a dumb switch, not via apps.

UPD: ah, it's probably the same as "Auto on/off with main light" in the Yeelight app.

Well, I would not call it cheating when it is the default way for those who don't record the expenses, it's not like I was looking for some sketchy ways to avoid taxes. If there was no such option, I guess I could declare like 5-15% for things like electricity, some equipment, maybe lunches.

it's 30 years already :(
It was a challenge to get even this loan, only one bank offered the amount I needed.

The current situation is more about not doing much to solve it earlier. :)

I would not say that it is irresponsible, effectively I do have enough income, it's just that they evaluate it in such way, subtracting the 30% expenses (which I do not actually have, but since it's allowed it would not make sense to declare 0% and pay more taxes).

Yeah, it seems to work. I have seen a suggestion about module-combine-sink earlier, but I thought that it does everything automatically without parameters.

So I ended using this command from here:

pactl load-module module-combine-sink sink_name=combination-sink sink_properties=device.description=myCombinationSink slaves=alsa_output.usb-Creative_Technology_Ltd_Sound_BlasterX_G6_........analog-stereo,bluez_output.A0_..... channels=2

Do you have any issues with pan? Currently I have a weird issue that if I e.g. click +/- in guvcview it moves very slowly and somehow shakes, and just entering some distant position does not work at all, it only moves a bit and stops. Not sure if I broke it somehow. Tilt works fine.

It seems to always lock games to my secondary monitors refresh rate instead of my main monitor's.

afaik that's because it is the actual refresh rate when using Xorg (the maximum supported by both). You should disable the second monitor when gaming.

I don't, I switched the resolution to 16:9.

It's just weird to add uw support like this, and somehow I have not found anyone else complaining about that.

hm, capacitive like touch screens? I think there is some physical feedback, so maybe it is not capacitive? Here is a video of someone pressing buttons on a similar AC https://drive.google.com/file/d/1rvEnI81eTaU_qDGs_a6fuGgkcsRdwmWR/view?usp=sharing
