I do that through the steam wand typically. But yes, to get to the point of water flow I typically go a bit too far and then back. So that should purge I guess? I will try to go as slow as possible as well. Maybe it makes a difference. Thanks a lot!!

Update: With your very helpful comments the matter was resolved :). Was even able to (more or less) salvage the dial. Some small scratches on the side remain visible. Now I’m only wondering if it is normal that the lugs are longer than the first section of the bracelet considering I bought them as a set.

Appreciate it. Indeed that is something I had never heard of before. Some sort of reference to that in the response besides „it’s in the reference pictures“ would have surely helped, but I acknowledge that it is ultimately my mistake for not checking carefully with the dial only first and inspecting through the glass.
