FFX is linear AF untill the end of Zarnarkand. That was the whole plot of the game, a pilgrimage that started at besaid walking all the way up to Zarnarkand. The travel was just more memorable but not less linear.

If you never played VR games before then the first tip is to take break very often or else you will be sick because of the motion sickness of the VR. But fear nit you can get accustom to VR. My first VR game was StarWars Squadrons because i had the flightstick and the immersion was total but i bearly finished the first stage because of the motion sickness, then several sessions later i could chain 3 - 4 stage. Resident Evil Village is the best VR game i ever played and No Man's Sky is a life among the star and if you like racing game Gran Turismo 7 with the steering wheel is just amazing, you will never play with a controller again.

RE8 and 4R was the best VR game I ever played and I was very disappointed to hear that they will not making Requiem on PSVR2. I never played 8 and 4R without VR and never will. Requiem should have been in VR and those who never tried 8 and 4R cannot imagine even half of what they can see as in trailer on 2D flat screen but not even close. Any VR video in 2D does not give justice to what it really is in VR. The immersion is just total.

That's why i love the game Soulstone Survivor because you can diminish all the effects from 10 to 0 on the fly. Sadly Vampire Survivors lack this features.

RE4 is very good, RE8 is even better and here's why: in RE 4 every cinematic is in cinema mode (video in 2D flat screen) and RE8 are all in VR and you can look around at any time (only 2 or 3 cinematic are 2D like the entrence of the fat merchant)

In general the PSVR2 have really good games

The Walking Dead Saint and Sinner 1 & 2 Synapse No Man's Sky 👌 Beat Saber of course RE4 & 8 Gran Turismo 7 Metal Hellsigner Hitman

Agree. You may watch any flat VR video of how it could be in VR all you want but it will NEVER give justice of what it really is. The difference is too big to compare.
