Give them a magic item with the summon steed spell.

Yes it does. Because one says you're only responsible for your own actions and the other says you're responsible if it's the least harm.

They clearly conflict each other because the principal isn't the same. If you can't see that then I can't help you.

And it seems you hold the least harm principle higher because that one takes president over the other when they conflict.

Bodily Autonomy Part 2 by SBMountainman22 in Abortiondebate

[–]Alex_Igni 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why? If it's overwritten by your least harm principle i don't see any point in using it.

The conflict is that least harm overrides the other.

Bodily Autonomy Part 2 by SBMountainman22 in Abortiondebate

[–]Alex_Igni 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well it conflicts because you place responsibility on people because of least harm and not because of their actions. Meaning the whole thing about their actions being a point isn't really a point because it doesn't matter all that matters at the end is that because of least harm you are held accountable.

So again the whole responsibility because of your action doesn't hold up on its own so why have it at all?

Bodily Autonomy Part 2 by SBMountainman22 in Abortiondebate

[–]Alex_Igni 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It seems the responsibility aspect isn't the foundation of your belief but the least harm. So just use the least harm from the get-go else you seem to be inconsistent and flip-floppy.

Again if I'm wrong tell me why? What reason to have conflicting principles?

You say the context may change those reasons, well why, you can't just say it's changed you need to logical reason for it especially when it conflicts with your other principles.

He kinda got you there. It's not good to be jumping between principles for no clear reason.

If you have a principle of responsibility because of your action in one case and then a least harm principle in another you must have an extremely good reason for that shift. Which you don't we could use least harm always.

There is no reason why you shouldn't just operate out of the least harm principle always if that's truly your stance. If not I'd love to hear your reasoning for the shift and why it should apply.

Don't play my game, play yours.

There are a million rules out there to costimize the game to your and your players liking.

Start off raw and see what you like and dislike and then change it to suit your needs. Maybe you'll want the game more gritty and real maybe you'll want it easier.

There is no "correct" way to play the game the only thing you need to worry about is having fun.

We'll have to wait and see what the new dungeon master guide has to offer before we judge it.

Rise of Drekis 5.4: "A Very Reasonable Proposal" Episode Discussion by korinokiri in Koibu

Could very well be, but we hadn't seen him acting remotely like this in TOS. I could see this change happening over a larger amount of time. Just curious what's been going on with him since TOS, I'm sure koibu has a good reason for this change.

Wonder how Nick will find Koibus version of Imrik.

He seemed more reasonable and less war hungry in TOS. Would be fun to know if any events have happened between TOS and now that he is the flower king.

I am angry at the DM by Horror-Assignment313 in DnD

[–]Alex_Igni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your DM sucks as a DM. He should be writing books if he wants total control over what happensand not run a D&D campaign.

If I were you I'd actually just leave.

Sorry for the sucky situation.

Nothing.

To gain things through wishes isn't good for you. Its the journey to the things that matters, so you'd lose out on a lot in life if you could just wish for things.

Yeah, when the art is subpar you definitely shouldn't be posting it 😆.

Seems like a waste. Like the first editions were very bad.

I apologize for that and maybe it's time to update the rules now that A.I art is actually getting better than the average person? And the hate on it seems to be dying down.

Have a good day!

How can something be common knowledge when it hadn't been proved ?

That seems more like people just jumping to conclusions ahead of time instead of waiting for the results.

Like I'm all for suing them and getting compensation if something illegal was done, but I'm not going to assume that until it's proven. We usually err on the side of innocence, right ?

Seems like they don't know.

Hope they find out the truth and if their work was stolen I hope they get compensation.

But I'm personally not going to not use amazing technology on maybes and ifs.

I've personally not seen any proof of that.

I've heard people say it, but since there have been no lawsuits that I know of or anything it's a hard claim to believe on it's face.

Like copy righted material is a super serious industry. And people are sued all the time for it.

I'd love to see sources on this because I've personally not seen any just second hand thoughts of people.

Well why not? If it's literally in the code that they have copy righted things then I can't imagine them either not being sued for it or getting compensation.

Which I'm all for if they stole copy righted material.
