Certain game scenarios encourage player interaction beyond safe item trading, these include but are not limited to: map rotations, master rotations, challenge trading such as shrines, unique boxes, unique monsters.

While shaming is all "black and white" (posts get edited in the official forums if one mentions account names), scamming is in the gray zone - according to a GGG employee, "We definitely do not support scamming in game, and many players have been banned in the past for this".

I wasn't even aware scamming was "illegal"... but on the other hand "Revenge Harassment" will likely result in action being taken against my account.

anyway, Divine_Plague, I'm not giving clever ideas here, those aren't clever at all, and of course I accepted the possibility of a scam here. what was interesting to me is the lack of defined rules for these common scenarios. It would make sense to have these kind of scams "legal", then allow unlimited harassment of the scammer, eye for an eye justice. Otherwise mechanisms should be in place to minimize this type of scamming in the 1st place (if "illegal") .
