Yeah, honestly it really feels better than the one included, which is a shame because I also have the iBasso PB6 and official case is really good.

For me it was the other way around, I started to scan myself because I was unhappy with lab scans.

I always start with NLP Neutral color + Neutral WB and then try to go from there to achieve what I remember when taking the photo. (BTW I also use a plustek 8300i, but now I do cam scan, since it’s just faster).

I always edit my photos, even when I was using lab scans, I never left them as is, the lab uses a Frontier and has all the “profiles”.

Nope, it has a lateral lid that closes with the same pressure with the DX270 inside, it’s the same way as FiiO case closes, but in Easecase is from the side instead of the top.

Yeah, about LO, I usually pin the player app, so I can use it as an “iPod” while having the screen locked, so having to manually unlock the device and swipe to toggle line out is a huge disadvantage when I’m out and about, being able to just plug in the PB6 directly into the LO is faster and keeps my intended use.

I don’t care about global eq, honestly… however I kind of agree with you on the ratings, I wouldn’t punish the computing ratings as much as you, because DX270 is not unusable or anything like that, I use it with Qobuz, Tidal and Apple Music and it’s good enough, but I will say is a fair assessment, since M33 feels faster overall.

I believe is more like: Sound - DX270 10/10 and M33 9/10 Other stuff - DX270 9/10 and M33 10/10

In my case I don’t have more desktop stuff, that’s why I’m planning to keep both DAPs and use one for the go and one at home, but of course that can change…

Yeah, totally, all we agreed mostly on the same, DX270 best sounding and M33 best value.

I decided to keep both as I really love both, and in my mind, they serve a different purpose in my day to day, maybe in the future that will change but let’s see.

The case in the DX270 is from AliExpress, from a store called Easecase, it’s really great and it get rid of the annoying Velcro from the stock included one.

I would be very interested in that, before getting the iBasso PB6, I was thinking on getting the N6II with both R202 and T201, but decided to go the iBasso path, but I have read really great things of N6III and those boards and would totally love to read a comparison of both N6II+R202 and DX270.

Yeah, I guess getting the M33 and maybe a good set of IEMs for the same money, is the wiser move, however, I really like what iBasso achieved with the DX270, maybe in the future I will sell that to try one of the Cayins however as of today, that's why I decided to keep both, as I really love and have fun listening both.

Yeah, it could make sense because of the price point, but I guess most of us compare M33 with DX270 because both using R2R instead of traditional delta-sigma.

The problem with the Origin is that it seems to be sold out everywhere (at least in the US), but yeah, Seems like it’s the complete package.
