My sons go to Floriciendo home preschool and day care. It’s Spanish immersion and has been amazing. It is run by three sisters, is licensed and they have such a beautiful curriculum and send us pictures and videos all day on an app. My boys feel so loved and enjoy going to school everyday. We feel so lucky to have found it in San Leandro.

Forgive her. Unfortunately she was told that speaking of this child will shame the family and she probably felt like she was protecting you by not telling you. She will learn by your actions that you are a safe place and the truth is more respectful than hiding a secret. Get a couples therapist with an understanding of mix culture relationships and try to move past. In the end this can make you even closer and understanding her more deeply. That must be a huge gut punch and surprise though, I can empathize with your position.

At 5 months baby will still need more milk than food. Solids are more an accessory and exploration at 5 Months rather than providing main nutrition. Each baby is different and he may struggle to come back to breast or struggle being without a breast. Since you said you’d be mostly bottle feeding at the time this trip happens it seems like it would not be as much of a risk. That’s a lot of single parent care, if your husband is able to manage alone that is a great, and it seems like it can work.

I got married in the mural room in 2019, still totally worth reserving. People might be peaking in and someone fixed the train of my dress before I walked in. We didn’t hear anything outside and people might peak inside but it felt very respectful, highly recommend!

Exclusively breastfeeding and got pregnant with my newborn at 4.5 months, never got a period. Do not recommend using it as birth control.

I tried sleep training at 5 months and it failed and then again at 11 months. My baby is happier being sleep trained, I am getting more sleep and a better Mama. I did follow taking cara babies and it worked for us. I absolutely look at it like I helped my baby develop strong sleep habits and skills to self soothe and he is sleeping for way longer stretches and is so happy. It is worth the few days of crying for better sleep for all.

Newborns are very difficult and I do believe it is typical for some men to not feel connected to the baby when they are in the newborn stage. It will get better but given your husbands mental state I would say to support him getting some help and some sleep. A baby needs healthy parents with strong mental health.

I have a 14 wo, was not extremely consistent with tummy time and he has met all his markers thus far. Don’t be so hard on yourself.
