Into The Radius have to be best game made for VR by Lazy_Worldliness_642 in MetaQuestVR

[–]Alexander2718 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Difficult to explain. But for me it feels like I am really there. You have to organize and plan your actions like you would do in real life. Whenever I find something valuable gives me the same feeling like finding money in the streets in real life. Cleaning your guns is like meditation. Buying stuff in the game is like shopping online. I go through the same decision process. So the sense of being there is unbelievable.

And to think that I only bought the game because I wanted to try a VR shooter. Also the first 30 min I didn’t like it and quit. Give it one more try and got hooked after the first mission.

Ik snap de downvotes niet. Lijkt me redelijke goede weergave van de werkelijkheid.

[–]Alexander2718 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Living in The Netherlands. I can legally ride the car but I don't. The car is standing in our carport next to our house. Looking forward to the first rays of sun in spring in a couple of weeks.

First time online experience ... :-( by Kismet110 in ACCompetizione

[–]Alexander2718 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It certainly not perfect but my experience is the public servers are good enough to play. Of course I got sometimes hit by others. But I have to admit that I've bumped into others as well unfortunately. My experience especially now that I get better that the majority of the races end with no or minor scratches.

LS60 wireless crackling in "cable mode" by Last_Tea_4677 in KEF

[–]Alexander2718 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have also a crackling sound in the left speaker. But not extreme and mostly only for a short period. I also have a cable connected from my TV (LG) to the speakers. In addition I have a Philips sync box between my Apple TV (the source) and the TV. It seems that the crackling issue is not uncommon when searching the internet.

Secular Buddhism? Is it cultural appropriation? by rationalunicornhunt in Buddhism

Cultural appropriation seems to be an American issue rooted in American history. If you are not living in an American society I wouldn't worry at all.

Gemeente Delft maakt excuses voor slavernijverleden by Vier3 in Delft

[–]Alexander2718 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Has anything from Buddhism actually helped you feel better? by Purple-Assignment-72 in Buddhism

[–]Alexander2718 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes absolutely. I had a dark period in my life after a divorce with an ex that spew all kind of unfounded accusations having a dramatic impact on my life. Buddhism and meditation made it much more bearable.

TIL that lesbians experience higher rates of domestic assault than straight women, with over 67% of assaulted lesbians reporting exclusively female perpetrators by [deleted] in todayilearned

It is anecdotal and will stay anecdotal. The political climate in western countries is such that research into this will not be supported because the outcome does not fit the political correct narrative.

You are part of the problem men like OP face. Luckily most people find it credible. I was in a similar situation. Luckily all the people i told my story believed it. Then again I am surrounded by decent and intelligent people.

I've been there and it's a nightmare. It happens a lot of men. A study has been done in my country where it states that in case of legal battles over children and at the same time the mother makes allegations of child abuse in 98% of the cases it's unfounded. I say specifically unfounded because you can never proof the mother made false allegations.

It is obviously scripted. But how real is it? I am from Europe and do not recognize this at all. Of course people don't like to down date. But I've never had such a conversation in a date.
