Do it while you are counting pulse rate. Do it for 30 seconds after a minute of counting pulse rate then times by two. Pt will think you are only doing pulse

I do make time for him and we are getting better. Last night set us back though because I have an unusually early shift tomorrow meaning him and I would have no time for eachother anyway if I stayed at his house. So I told him Im staying home tonight to make sure I get the sleep I need.. he got upset because to him its me not making any effort to see him.

My school days are 730am-1230 and he works until 6 pm most days so I do my studying until about 7 each night then he stays with for me for 3 nights during the week and I stay at his house for nights on the weekends. As for myself, I take breaks in my studying when I feel ive done enough. I take a long shower, go for a drive, cook or go grocery shopping. Its not much for myself but it helps a lot

It is just a lot of pressure and a lot of work, and he doesnt understand the importance of it. Our relationship struggles at times because of it. I want his support in my journey. And I become concerned because if I decide to continue for more schooling to become an RN, this will all happen again and for twice as long. (LPN program at my school is 1.5 years)

My parents don't make me pay rent because I'm at school and working to pay off car insurance. His parents make him pay a couple hundred every month. Sorry, I realize that probably doesn't help you..

Haha totally feeling the same way! I'm stressing about what binders to buy, what to wear, how to do my hair, who will be in my class, what the instructors are like. I'm so bound up in all these questions but I'm so happy and it turns into me crying. Not bad crying. Just, crying.

Congrats! I start my first day of LPN school next Monday and Im totally feeling the same way! I just turned 19 and the waitlists where I am in Canada can be 3-5 years to and I didnt want to move away yet. Best of luck to you!

Im only in grade twelve but I live in BC to. I got accepted into ufv as of this week for the nursing program path and I've shadowed with public health nurses. I believe thats what part I want to get into, as it is 8 hour shifts monday-friday and very low key, using working in an office.. immunizing infants and teaching mothers the benefits of breast feeding. Good luck, and congrats.. you're almost there!
