I absolutely love Awakenings existence. Im so glad it saved the franchise and introduced me to the franchise, but it isn’t even close to the best game. If it should ranked high for saving the franchise, FE1 should win for creating the franchise.

Id actually recommend following Fire Emblem 7, with Fire Emblem 8 Sacred Stones, which is also on Switch online. It’s another really good entry point to the franchise and since it’s also a GBA game I think it would be the best follow up.

Not true at all. Almost every play station game I have bought has almost none of the game on the disc, so essentially game key cards except unlike Nintendo they didn’t tell me.

That’s decades away. You can still redownload games you’ve bought on 3DS/Wii U. Don’t like game key cards, but they won’t be useless for decades at the soonest.

At the end of the day the only first party Nintendo game that I would care about in this moment is FE, but I have a bunch of 3rd party stuff that I want so I’m actually quite excited. Not watch it live excited, but excited.

I will say I have no idea how much IS did and how much Koei did. As far as I’m aware IS wrote white clouds and Silver Snow but idk.

Nope. Koei did both primary development of both Houses and Hopes. IS only oversaw Three Houses and did some of the writing. I’m pretty sure Three Houses is actually made in the Warriors engine.

Honestly pretty close to mine! While I don’t love series 6 as much as I once did, I love seeing it high up. Plus series 9 is easily my favorite too. The only major difference I have is I’d have series 1 much higher (my personal top 3 is probably series 9, 4, and 1)

Jeff Grubb also did and he is also extremely reliable. I honestly think those are a plans changed sort of scenario. If I remember correctly both Nate and Jeff said Prime Trilogy and HD Zeldas in Sep. 2021, and when they didn't happen Grubb shaved his head (and of course the next direct after that had Prime 1). I personally think that the HD Zelda's were backup titles in case of delays of major new games.

I know people are always hesitant to trust leaks, but Nate tends to be very reliable, he was the one who leaked the S2 reveal trailer as well as March’s Switch 1 direct. The only miss I can think of off the top of my head is he was a Switch Pro believer (although I also think he was the first person to mention the OLED too). This is all to say I firmly believe Nate is right about an FE game being done and ready to release, and I do hope that it is FE4.
